When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.

"Worth a visit (only on a bright and clear day)"
reviewed February 5, 2020 by Sharadks56
One of the tallest building in Shanghai. It offers a panoramic view of the city for which you have to buy a ticket. Note: Please go on a clear day only, otherwise you will not see anything. The building includes shopping area, restaurants, five star hotel. One can spend time on the tower and the shopping area. Adequate parking is...
Been there multiple times, most for business meetings in the day time. The bar, being on 50th floor, does provide a sense of privacy and exclusivity. The semi-enclosed sofa seating is good for us disturbed discussions. The view is also worth the money, however, Shanghai rarely has good weather that you can fully enjoy the scene.
I used to go there quite often. They have great choice of multiple cousins - Japanese, Chinese, Singaporean, and western. The quality of foods, and cooking are also top notch. Will be a wonderful choice if you are hungry, and also with families so everyone has their own selections. Will not recommend for business discussion though as the restaurant could...

The Flair rooftop was probably the first item on our Shanghai trip bucket list. We were staying at the Peninsula and decided to visit the place for dinner after checking out the Shanghai Tower. I tried booking a table over the phone but was told that reservations are limited only for the Ritz-Carlton guests. So, we decided to reach slightly...
It's the best birthday experience we had in these years, the view is amazing as imagined and the food is fantastic. Thanks to Chef Natalino for the tasting menu and great hospitality, we will definitely come back.
Checked in for three wonderful nights during out stop over in Shanghai on route to New Zealand.
The hotel and room was better than expected and we had high expectations.
Have to also say the view of The Bund from the room was fantastic also.
Only negative I have that I only realised after checking the bill after check out...
The gym and pool are great. Delicious breakfast. Impeccable service as usual. The location is good enough. Our rooms had excellent view of the river and Shanghai promenade. Mandarin Oriental just never disappoints!
"Lovely hotel, terrific veiws, the executive lounge is terrific"

The service was terrific here and our room was wonderful. This year we were not overlooking the water, but we could still see many of the lights at night. If we wanted a view at night of the Bund, we would just go over to the executive lounge, sit and have snacks and cocktails. Speaking of the lounge, the wait...
What a great hotel - Excellent location near the river and the TV tower, aquarium and plenty of shopping malls and only a few minutes walk to public transport the hotel is a great place to stay - I had access to the executive lounge and floor which meant quiet rooms and a great view and excellent snacks and drinks...
"Perfect Business Hotel in the heart of the financial district"

Executive suite at 800 sq.ft. Was perfect. In typical four seasons style the room is exquisitely appointed. Toiletries (by Ferragamo) are worth hoarding. Executive club lounge access is an excellent value for the upgraded executive suites. Top floor with extraordinary views, it is a perfect venue to set up meetings. Drinks and snacks are included for guests as is breakfast....
