This was a handsome spinach salad, but it was served with the dinner and not before it.

This is an awful excuse for a true Irish shepherd's pie. Gloppy, gooey, carb-filled mess, more potatoes than anything.

It's a Holiday Inn, so the room is not luxurious. But it is clean, efficient, pretty comfortable, of generous size and handsomely appointed. I would rate the room as a pretty good value.

Clean, modern and functional; not fancy but one million percent serviceable.

Here's how the hotel looks from the street. Notice the empty parking lot and the grass growing in the cracks. These are difficult days for every hotel.

Another shot of the room, showing the furniture and entranceway. All perfectly clean and acceptable.

Here's the lobby/business center and dining area for the hotel. It' is huge, and in normal times would be filled with happy people and kids. There's even an indoor swimming pool all the way down on the end. Now it's deserted.

I think this is a very unusual and very creative answer to the COVID crisis for restaurants. Well done!

This is the SMALL wedge salad — it could have been my whole dinner.

A very nice seafood and pasta dinner: a citrus wine sauce with scallops, swordfish, lobster and shrimp. Deeeelish!

They have re-purposed their parking lot to handle outside dining with excellent social distancing.

My steak was excellent; they're not serving salads yet but the veggies ands the steak were top-notch. Also compliments to the bartender, who makes a great martini. Well done!

The "new normal" for restaurants — checking in outside; giving your name and a phone number for contact tracking. This young lady did a very good job.

The T-bone steak was almost as large as the plate!

The front door doesn't face the street, but is hidden on the side of the building, near the parking lot and the river. Not a problem, once you figure it out.

Here's how the Grill looks from the street. Easy to find, park alongside the river.

This is an appetizer — yikes! where I come from, it would be a whole meal. This is the cold crab starter — so very pretty and nicely plated.
