Great bar/restaurant. We went here several times when on holiday. The setting is great, right by Falmouth Harbour, the cocktails are fantastic, the staff really friendly and the food excellent value for money. Half a lobster and octopus salad were both cooked to perfection and reasonably priced.

Our time at Cloggy’s was amazing. The entire staff was friendly, but our server Try made it a night we won’t forget. He was friendly and accommodating, even for our picky eater. The chef also came out to check on us and we were able to thank him for the delicious meal. We recommend this restaurant to anyone able to go!

This restaurant is right on the harbour with great views. We were there in the quiet season so not many boats and restaurant quite quiet. We had a great lunch from a varied menu watching Pelicans dive for their lunch in the sea. The food was well prepared and presented and the service we received was excellent. We found this quite by accident as we were looking for a lunch place after visiting Nelson's Dockyard and this is not far away. Easy parking great drinks and not expensive. Well worth a trip from wherever you are in Antigua.

Visited Cloggys on Boxing Day after it being recommended y our Airbnb host. All I can say is I wish we hadn’t. It’s such a beautiful spot by the boats but omg the services was an appalling and the food was awful. I had a burger, so dry and unappealing served with oven chips, crinkle oven chips!! My hubby had a curry that was served cold so they reheated it in a microwave, YOU DONT REHEAT RICE!! All the tables around us were complaining about the service including us as it was ridiculously slow, no one asking if we’d like more drinks. They just walked around in a daze and just didn’t care. Finally the manager/owner came over to us and apologised with the excuse they were busy? No they weren’t there was at least 3 empty tables. In the end we left without paying as the owner said it was on him! Only enjoyable part was the view and the rum punch when it finally got to us. Honestly don’t think they realise what they have in Antigua and it’s totally wasted…..

Some friends who live in the Island took us out on a day trip to see some of their favourite sites. The restaurant they chose to take us to for lunch was Cloggie's, which they kindly booked in advance.
From start to finish, the service was attentive, and the waiting staff were kind and helpful. There was quite a buzzy atmosphere for lunch; a mixture of couples / families eating on the balcony, and a younger crowd getting shots and drinks in at the bar.
I had the catch of the day (which was Wahoo) with mashed potato, poached egg and hollandaise sauce, which went down perfectly with a couple of bottles of Carib lager.
I want to go back to Cloggy's if possible, as I had my eye on their burgers.

Thank you again Vanessa & Ton Smit, very much the beating heart of Cloggy’s but in my option English Harbour.
This was our second visit, the first one day in and full of cough and cold yet we still had a great time.
It’s wise to book so why we didn’t is entirely my fault. Walked in to a morning and in-spite of many full days Vanessa went out of her way to find us somewhere to sit this evening, which we were more than happy with. On arrival Ton had gone out of his way to hugely improve our table location and yet still apologised for the inability to give us a table outside. The view is spectacular but it’s not hugely different through the by-fold doors and you get the atmosphere of the varied clientele.
Its the people, the location, the warmth of hospitality and the varied menu that make this a jewel in our calendar. There are fancier restaurants and they do a great job but this is great food with the warmth of the Dutch and the fabulous staff who are part of the experience.
Love Barbados and love the local people but on the West Coast there are too many pretentious people who are there to be seen. There are better restaurants in English Harbour than the whole of the West Coast of Barbados and you don’t have to book a table for next Christmas as you’re leaving this year!
We will be back for more next year because it just delivers every time.
Thank you all and have a much deserved 26/27 rest! You’ve earned it and then some! X

I came to Antigua in early April for a week and came for lunch and dinner at Cloggy’s during my stay. The new location is great with beautiful views over the marina, the food really good and the service is great. Ton and the team do an amazing job making you feel welcome in a friendly and attentive way.
I highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Located in a stunning marina setting in the harbour. It felt a little more pubby and casual than the other places we went to, particularly getting to and from our table, and the bathrooms which could have been a bit smarter. Our table was in a wonderful location though, on the external balcony overlooking the marina.
The service was pretty good although we did have to chase up some drinks, but they were very friendly and helpful. Can only really comment on two of the prawn dishes - one in garlic butter, which was delicious but very spicy, and the coconut prawns, which were fantastic. Really good food and a lovely spot which I wouldn't hesitate to return to.
Bear in mind it is only open Wednesday to Sunday and is very popular so you will need to book ahead at peak season.

WE went here for lunch after many recommendations. When we sat down there was no one around us. Nice seat with beautiful view. They took our order right away. Then they forgot about us. Two other tables around us sat down and were served before us. We asked where our server was and were told he went home. We finally received our drinks. Order our lunch. We again were forgotten. The tables on either side of us were served first and when they brought our before dinner bread they also brought our lunch. Needless to say we were not impressed. As my husband paid, he talked to cashier about and she said she would look into. Service was terrible, food passible, view fantastic. We will not go there again and cannot recommend.

We arrived at our destination in Falmouth Harbor on Saturday evening and we were tired and hungry after traveling all day. It was a short walk from the Bluff House down to Cloggy’s. We didn’t have reservations - and it was Saturday evening (around 18:00). The hostess said if we could be done before 19:45, she could seat us. We had an amazing table in the corner of the outside terrace, overlooking the beautiful yachts in the harbor. We were a party of four and we ordered the following: Sambuca grilled shrimp which was amazing with a spicy and sweet sauce; Chicken with pasta and cream sauce which was delicious; Caesar salad with the catch of the day (Mahi) which was so fresh and amazing; and the special of the evening which was the ribeye with Cajun shrimp and veggie risotto — we had enough steak left over to make steak and eggs the next morning. We didn’t have anything too out of the ordinary by way of cocktails, but Tryvis was an amazing cocktail server whose personality meshed totally with our party. No one saved room for dessert. Next time we are on the island, we will definitely be back to Cloggy’s.

If you're not a rich VIP yacht owner, forget it; don't even try to make a reservation. They treated us like dirt. We actually made a reservation that they had to "think about" granting us and because everything is on Antigua time, the taxi never showed. We called ahead to let them know and they said it was okay for us to still come and dine with them. When we arrived they said we would have to be quick and had only 45 minutes to eat, but it took nearly the whole 45 mins before our food arrived after ordering. 6 minutes after our food arrived they began rushing us out for the next seating. There were five empty tables behind us and a few places at the bar. They never once offered us a chance to move. The wait staff abruptly began coming to the table one after the other telling us we had to leave in front of other guests. They didn't even ask if we wanted take away boxes---we had to ask for them (as if they expected we would leave everything we ordered and pay for it all as we left). We were so stunned and embarrassed that we could hardly gather ourselves to complain. Do yourself a favor and go to Colibri instead. Not worth the hassle.

Nice vibe at the new location. It’s a bit out of the harbour now but it still has a vibrant atmosphere, we went on a Sunday evening and found that the staff are friendly and professional, the tapas menu clear and food good. Very reasonable prices.

Thank you to Cloggy, the Dutch owner who takes a keen interest in his restaurant and it shows.
Situated over the water at the end of the yacht club it has a great colonial style upmarket feel we loved.
The staff are highly attentive, the decor superb, as is the choices of food and the prices are reasonable.
Sadly, it is not open every day.

You need to pass through a noisy bar full of sozzled yacht crew on leave to get to it, but the restaurant is really very different. Lots of wood and solid furniture, which feels like an older yacht club. Great service too.
The food is excellent, and very good value - you can really go to town and not get a nasty shock when the bill arrives. Plus the view is great, over the big moored boats - don't forget that from 5.30pm it gets dark, so having a "beach view" is pointless as it's just darkness!
So, when all things are considered, I would say this is the clear winner in English Harbour, and the sort of place you can eat multiple times if you're just here for a week or 2.

Cloggy’s is a great spot for lunch or dinner with a stunning view of the harbour. I’ve read some reviews saying staff were rude and rushing them- when there was a 8pm curfew (covid) we arrived at 6pm to be told we would be asked to leave at 7.15 as their staff needed to clear up and get home (some live across the island) the service was a little rushed but all staff were polite. We have been back 3 times since then, never with a reservation, always given a table and had good service.
There is a large menu, great choice and all our food has been delicious. Perfectly ripe Brie starter with amazing caramelised onions, fresh Caesar salad with tiger prawns, tasty tenderloin steak, huge burger, very tasty and perfectly cooked prawns with a delicious light homemade dip.
Their seafood pasta looks amazing so think il try that next time.
Price wise is it one of the pricer restaurants in the area however due to the level of service, position and quality of food it is absolutely worth it.
