A lovely small restaurant can easily be recommended. You get a hearty lunch in a local atmosphere. Prices are not very cheap but the quality is good and portions big. Good service even in English even though most other customers seemed to be locals. Would love to come back.

I walked yesterday in Hermance with my gf and a friend and decided to join this restaurant for a quick dinner. We were put on a small terrace on the back as in the front it was reserved ( omg who would even reserve in this place?) Anyways we checked the menu and we asked the waiter (a very kind... More

Great ribs and filet de perche. Fondue in winter is quite good and often they have great specials. The service from Edna is friendly and timely.

We sat down, hot Sunday afternoon, 2pm. First waitress is welcoming, then an older lady comes out and asks us to move inside... no reservation signs on tables, and 3 tables EMPTY outside, the missus tried to insist, answer remained the same and so we went else where and the ilder lady said 'thank you' as we left. WE AIN'T... More

I was there in February on a Sunday. It was the only place opened and to our surprise we had very good service and the best fondue you will ever have. The most incredible is that our meal was pre pared by a Swiss chef from La Gruyere region

You will find there a typical Swiss menu and wine card in a typical "old style" restaurant and at a reasonable price (if it exists in Switzerland). Located in a very typical village which is ratehr quiet even in summer.

We had been warned that the lake perch offered In restaurants might not come from Lac Leman. Not only was the fish local, but it was caught by a Hermance villager. Fries and salad just as good. We had a delicious Pinot Gris from just down the road. Well worth the trip from Geneva.

We benefitted from a lovely day, and so took advantage of the terrace seating. Had the delicious home-made fois-gras for starters. The rumpsteak was also great, salmon ok. Back on form with the dessert - a fine home-made cheesecake. Hermance is a quiet village, on the lake, an easy day trip on the bus from Geneva. La Croix Federale will... More

We were driving around the lake and just happened on this village and restaurant The food and service was excellent and the portions were very generous. We had a 5 month old with us and the staff and owner could not have been nicer. We would definitely go back

The food was good, the ingredients of fairly good qualities and the foie-gras kept its promises. This said, we found the prices very high and were disappointed by the lack of local, non-industrial brands (water for example). The place is nice, service is OK and you can have a nice walk after dinner.
