The last time we were in GC, Heritage Kitchen was closed for the duration of our entire trip - as they close the entire month of August. So this time around, immediately after we arrived from the airport, we drove directly to Heritage Kitchen to...More

We've been on this island for the past 6 days, and I have to admit that the Heritage Kitchen is the best secret on Grand Cayman! If you are staying near West Bay, this is the place to eat! It's very laid back, inexpensive, ;and...More

Discovered this lovely hole in the wall place known for its fresh and delicious seafood with very reasonable prices, which is prepared pan fried or deep fried. The seafood is fish, whole or fillet, depending on what is fresh and available that day. The day...More

I could never do this place justice, so suffice it to say that once you so (as you most DEFINITELY should), you'll understand what I mean! We went for the BBQ night and we had mostly jerk chicken orders, but one in our group got...More

We asked, "where do the locals eat?" and Heritage Kitchen was one of the places the gentleman recommended. It's a very small spot with a really friendly staff, great food, is very reasonably priced and only has outdoor seating. It sits directly across a very...More

We heard about Heritage Kitchen and wanted to give it a try. It's not on the main road but off just off on a side road so you have to look for it but it's worth your time. It's a very limited menu. The day...More

Fresh group and snapper were on the white board menu today. I had the "Cayman" preparation of grouper and it was delicious. Outside only sitting, primitive building, the man who took our order was also the cook. Unique way to experience cayman friendliness and great...More

Stopped after a dive to get some food to take home to our villa. Tried the Coconut Grouper and the Cayman Style Grouper. The Coconut Grouper was not what I was expecting. For some reason, I was thinking there would be a sauce, but it...More

I don't believe they do. You eat out on picnic tables after you order your food. It is very local cuisine and style.

Local Cayman food at it's very best. Recommended by all who have eaten there. Written up as the place to go to in the Cayman Islands by the New York Times.Heritage Kitchen lies snuggled next to Boggy Sands Road in West Bay, serving some of the best local food.Fresh fish fry, fritters and fish tea are some of the most popular dishes.Diners eat at wooden tables outside the tiny restaurant or can sit on the sea wall a few feet away and watch the waves. The restaurant is behind the Heritage shopping centre at the four-way stop.Open Wed/Thu until 8pm,Fri/Sat until 10 pm and Sunday until 8 pm which is our Barbeque Day!
