Wife had a whole red snapper that was great and I had Crab fried rice that was equally delicious! Service was good and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth it.

Never seen anything like it! The food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful! Our waitress was bubbly and happy to help translate the menu for us as our Spanish is meh at best. Good service, interesting and unusual dishes, authentic Puerto Rican cooking. Our party of four spent the evening taking photos of the artistically-presented dishes and sampling a... More

I first loved this place, we used to go here a lot, but they have change. And the service have went downhill. Last time I went with my whole family and waited almost 2 hours to get our dinner. Family of 6. Also sometimes the do an offer in Gustazos (puertorican Groupon) and they treat you like garbage because is... More

I really liked their food, I order different plates to try, including their drink juices, very different and tasty Kind of slow service, very friendly waitress, just overworked, and one mistake on the charge, and understand it can happen. But , food I think is Worthey, fresh, original. Also they have live music

I got a nice New York strip with jumbo shrimp, a side of coconut rice and small salad. The steak was beautifully rare, simple salt and pepper season nothing more was needed tho. The coconut rice was soft and flavorful. We finished with splitting a deep fried cheesecake with ice cream. Can't go wrong.

The highlight of this place was the bathroom. They had the best hand scrub I have ever used. Not to say the food wasn't good, but I was really wanting Mofongo for one last time before we headed home, and it just wasn't as good as some of the other places we had been.

I could not taste much rum- almost virgin drink. The skirt steak was so tough that I had to throw away the half of the steak. The worst food I ever had in PR. So many good reviews and I'm so surprised how terrible it was

Description
Authentic Puerto Rican & Cuban Food. Many people write about it in their reviews of the Rio Mar in Rio Grande, PR. I would love to write a review about this place as it was the best Mofungo (fried mashed plantains) we had in PR (and we tried it in 4 restaurants).
