Great place to stop on the way to Pololu Valley. We had lobster taco, hot dog, and poke bowl. Very fresh and delicious!

What a pleasant surprise. This tiny little place has about 5 tables on a small patio and walk up service. We all had the Baja style fish tacos and loved them! Nicely cooked and full of flavor. Nothing was left on any of our plates....More
We stopped 3 times for fish and chips during this years Hawaii trip. The size of the portions were excellent for a very reasonable price. The service was quick and served hot. I liked the Lemon aide.
Gills came highly recommended by one of the Ezra who works at the Kohala Zip line. He was 100% correct this place was amazing! We had the fried shrimp taco's. One with beans and one with chips and salsa. The were thoroughly delicious. The outside...More
Awesome restaurant and great staff. Food was great and fresh. We stopped here after we hiked in and around Pololu valley and it was a perfect refresh.

Cute roadside stop going to or coming from Pololu Valley Overlook. The friendly staff welcomed us and we met the owner (Gill) who had fantastic hair and a great smile!
The reviews were very good so we decided to try Gill's Lanai. The fish and chips were very good. The organic lemonade was outstanding. Service was quick from a friendly staff and the price can't be beat on the Island of Hawaii. Not a lot...More
Nice little stop for poké, fish tacos, smoothies, speciality hot dogs and the like. Shrimp taco meal, very filling, was $9.95, Ban Mi (vegan Vietnamese sandwich) was $5.95. Vegan options. Perfect after your Popolu Valley hike.
