Just stopped for my wife’s birthday meal and decided to try the Rockin’ Rogi Diner in Middleton. OH MY GOD. We tried a bunch of different types of perogies (samosa, jalapeño, bacon cheeseburger, garlic scape, and 3 cheese) as well as their soup (curried root...vegetable and cream of mushroom) and I am posting literally as soon as we finished because I had to tell you all about it. IT WAS SO GOOD! Everything was so fresh, perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. On top of that, they have earned a Gold standing in NS for eliminating single-use plastics. Everything we got for take out (boxes, bowls, cutlery, bags) was all 100% compostable! We ate so fast we didn’t even take a picture. I’ve posted their “menu” but they told us they make up to 40 different kinds, so the available menu changes daily. Our only disappointment is that we couldn’t try everything!! They hand make their own fettuccini as well 🤤🤤🤤 We will absolutely be back. If you’re looking for a new place to try, do yourself a favour and head to Middleton and try this place. Just do it… Like, NOW.More

Its been a couple months since we discovered this little Diner. We had an assortment of 12 Perrogies and a Pasta to go (takeout), both were delicious but the Pasta portion size was small for a Lg and for the price. We will go again...but will stick with 2 orders of Perrogies.More

A wee little spot, delivering an eclectic and amazing selection of pierogies, plus homemade pasta, and paninis. Menu varies by the week, generally they post the menu on facebook. Not a lot of seating, but they are well prepared for take out orders. Not open...weekends, so plan accordingly. Staff/owners are great and the food is just amazing. We are huge pierogie fans, and this is definitely the place to visit.More

I just had the pleasure of visiting the Rockkn' Rogi for a late lunch, and was delighted by the quality and variety of treats on offer. Of the twenty or so varieties of perogy (including everything from Indian Samosa perogies to chocolate and marshmallow stuffed...s'morogies) I selected traditional, three cheese and jalapeño, topped with Sour cream, D'Aubin bacon. Close eyes, cue the orchestra, and taste. Crispy, delicate, perfectly seasoned, my Ukrainian Grandmother would have approved. I still have 17 varieties to try, and I intend to. Thanks to the friendly owners for a winter treat!More

A hidden gem of Middleton! The owners are whipping up some seriously tasty perogies with loads of toppings for even the most fussy foodies! I have seriously become addicted to their perogies in such short time. They are always fresh, tasty and made with quality...local ingredients. LOVE that the owners are using locally produced ingredients from feta cheese to D'Aubins bacon. Prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is quite filling. You won't find friendlier owners anywhere else and they are always smiling. And why not? Their business is doing fantastic as they bring something totally different to the Annapolis Valley. We needed these guys for sure! Heck, just writing this review already has me thinking of what I am ordering there tomorrow, for dinner.More

Tried thre different perogies - the Newfoundlander (haddock based), the Caritas (Cuban pork) and the cheeseburger (yes, beef and cheese) . They came with different sauces or condiments like grilled onions, sauerkraut and/or one of the best tartar sauces (dill flavoured) ever. All were unique...and all were delicious. Also shared a strawberry bean salad that was very tasty. All served in simple surrounding by a delightful woman who chatted amiably about her goats, her perogie cutters and/or flavoured waters. Very personable. They even have dessert perogies such as "apple "pie"-rogie. I didn't' try ay but the name made me smile. Owner plans to expand her menu choices beyond perogies in the near future.More
