Lovely pub in a great location along the canal, food and drink is always fantastic especially the specials boards they change quite frequently. Would recommend!

A really lovely pub with smashing food, friendly staff and a great view over the historic Bridgewater Canal. We've been there 3 times now and have greatly enjoyed the experience. We're looking forward to our next visit.

We were made to feel very welcome, and the menu had a good selection. We had a lovely meal and the wine wasn't half bad!

Had a lovely evening with our family, 17 of us in total. The service & food was excellent. Thank you once again for accomodating us on the last minute as our original venue had to cancel. We will be visiting again soon.

I lovel the location, I love the food, i Iove the atmosphere. The only thing that let's this fantastic pub down is the decoration. The carpets are aweful. But that does not take away from the lovely food and service

After a freezing Christmas walk along the towpath, we stopped here to warm up! Quick, friendly service and excellent value for money. A perfect walkers’ stop, and plenty of outside seating and dog friendly facilities.
