I'm sure May should be swapped with July as its possibly the driest month of the year The tearoom garden was open and the lawn was looking very lush and green. This was a another quick visit to one of our fav establishments . We had coffees and goats cheese salad which was fantastic, followed by coffee and walnut cake... More

Stopped by for some breakfast/brunch with a good friend of mine, prompt and friendly service as usual. We both had the potato cake with poached eggs and bacon, the produce always seem so much nicer than shop bought! Good size portions and reasonably priced. Some reviews make me wonder how many people want something for nothing and how far from... More

I have a chronic illness and upon ordering lunch I asked for a tea but not to put the teabag in the pot as I have my own which are the only ones I can use because of my illness. The owner was more than rude to me as I tried to explain the situation, she was not interested in... More

My wife and I went for some lunch and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is all home-made and very tasty. The portions are a little small but we're not big eaters anyway. Our daughter was asleep in her pushchair but there was a highchair available if we'd needed it. I'd definitely recommend The Secret Garden if... More

Visited with a friend, really friendly service and delicious food. My friend had a salad and I had Nana's potato cakes with bacon and eggs. Homemade potato cakes were delish. A cosy little spot for an hour away from the hustle and bustle. It was a sunny day when we visited so we got icecream to take away and had... More

Funny how you sometimes read other reviews and wonder " have they visited the same place " The sun was shining and after a wonderful brisk walk along the canal we visited our fav lunch spot. Food and coffee was again excellent with 2 top breakfasts. Only change no menus on tables which was a bit unusual, fortunately we know... More

Went for a lovely walk along the canal and woods and came across this great little tea room. I ordered the goats cheese salad with homemade chutney and it was the most beautiful salad I've had when eating out. Really friendly service!! What a lovely find next to a great circular walk. Will definitely be returning soon!

Never visited Worsley before even though it is quite local to me. A wonderful little village with some beautiful walks, nice pub, a lovely Restaurant called George's & this amazing warm Cafe. We received a warm welcome & then taken through the specials of which we were assured were all home made. (I can guarantee they were as I visited... More

Having read other reviews on The Secret Garden Tea Room it leaves me a little concerned. It would seem the owner has previously made customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and I quote from another reviewer 'there seemed to be a definite vibe from her'. Personally on leaving the Tea Room I described it as 'an edge'. Myself and my partner... More
