We ate dinner in the restaurant on a Monday evening where some of the other recommended restaurants were closed. The food was delicious, the service slightly less warm - perhaps because our Italian is really limited. We had local red wine Morellino di Scansano and enjoyed it with a Maremma beefsteak.

We ate here on our honeymoon when looking for a romantic dinner and it was incredible! The food was amazing, the staff was super attentive and friendly and the ambiance was perfect! Could not have asked for a more amazing meal! One of the best in my life! ;o)

Very nice romantic dinner. Excellent quality and home made pasta dishes. I would recommend place for a special occasion as it's not your trattoria and quality has a corresponding cost. Try it for a romantic date not on a budget and enjoy!

Our family of 4 all experienced splendid service and truly delicious food. The local wine was also excellent. This is reminiscent of a Michelin starred redstarts the Di don't come here if you expect food piled high. This is beautiful flavoured food to be savoured.

I've been coming to Trattoria Aurora for more than a decade and I must say that the excellent quality has remained the same. The place is still among the very best in the area. Book a table in the garden and let the man guide you and suggest what it's best: you won't be disappointed. Filetto alla Peposa is my... More

We had a nice dinner at Antica, service was good but not so personal. First we got a small soup from the kitchen, nice and tasty. Then we started off with their antipasti, we shared one which was good because we got lots of different dishes. Really liked the eggplant with mozzarella. The boar ragout was excellent. We also shared... More

Elegant, comfortable, beautiful garden dining. Great food (though I think the baccala crudo is a mistake -- the only one) at a good price. We liked the house wine a lot. The desserts were terrifyingly good. Friendly, low-key service. Highly recommended!

this restaurant looks cosy in the garden, but what you get, to fancy and much to expensive. And the starter is from the "house" they say, but after you have to pay alot. Better go a couple of restarants further were you can sit on the street or a open garden.

We ended up here because other restaurants we had considered were full. And there was a reason if this was empty. It's an elegant location, elegant tablecloth and cutlery but the food is expensive (with very few cheaper options), the quality pretty bad and the portions so small!. No highchair for babies or toddlers. to reach the room with our... More

For the past 30 years, l'Aurora has been the top, still existing restaurant in Toscana for country-stile cuisine. Be hungry if you go there and enjoy as much dishes as possible.
