My husband and I we stayed in Collingwood for couple of days. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted him to have have a special weak after he finished his chemo. I phoned prior to our trip to make a reservation and was told...that the restaurant doesn't make any reservations at this time but if I call two days before the restaurant might accommodate me. So I did. Spoke on the phone, specified exactly the date I was coming, October 13th 2021) and was reassured that my reservation was accepted for 5 pm. On October 13th,, thinking that everything was arranged, my husband and I we go to the restaurant to find out that the restaurant is closed for a special function and we are advised to find another place. Maybe the food is good in this place, I am not sure, I wasn't able to taste it but I am very upset with the way my husband and I were treated. We found another great restaurant and we celebrated my husband birthday elsewhere. Stay away from Tholos restaurant! Train your staff! JMore

From the outside the restaurant looks modern and luxurious. However, when you enter you are met with a dull run down look. They then took us upstair to a table of 6 sat beside the toilets, separated form the main downstairs seating area. We then...kindly asked to be reseated downstairs which wasn’t a problem . Strange they put us up there in the first place 🤷‍♀️ The menu was ODD. The choice of starters were quite random. On the menu they main the entree sound quite good. They weren’t good. We had ordered four different dishes; lamb chop, NY sirloin, chicken souvlaki and beef souvlaki. Expecting them to come with their own appropriate garnish and dressing. Quite the opposite, they all arrived looking the same. A hill of mixed vegetables and fries and then the meat just sitting on top. Each one looked identical apart from the cut on meat on top. The texture of the chicken was wrong, it was also flavor less. Each piece of meat was unseasoned and bland. And the sides where a meh wet veg and soggy fries. I honestly think that its the least effect put into a dish that ive seen yet. Just dont go 🙅🙅🙅 ThanksMore

Food was ok ! Slightly boring TBH My steak was good and cooked correctly. My son’s chicken was strange and semi inedible. Everyone else was just ok with their food. Service was ok ….. at least the waiter was nice. Just a little disjointed at...times. Didn’t feel special on any way. There must be better than this ….. personally i wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.More

We had dinner there last night and they didn't disappoint. Service was excellent. The lamb shank was just delicious as was the souvlaki that everyone else had. My only complaint is that the one glass of wine my mother had was $22. We could have...actually gotten a bottle of wine for less.More

This is one of the best restaurants. I don’t know how anyone could rate this place low. Obviously you will have to wait for a seat, they don’t take reservations. We waited ~40 mins during dinner hour on a weekend, they just call you when...your table is ready so you can walk around the village. The Greek beer is delish. We had this flaming cheese thing, also delish. Chicken souvlaki, Greek salad and grilled octopus all delish! Our server was great and very attentive. 10/10 recommendMore

Experience was abysmal. Checked in at 7:45, parts of our meal began to arrive close to 9pm. Our daughters meal arrived 15-20 minutes after ours, and the sides also arrived near the end of the meal. No care or attention...we were left feeling invisible. We...eat out all the time, and always love our experiences...this was shockingly disappointing. No one checked in w us, virtually no communication.More

Like most people, we haven't enjoyed a sit-down dinner (let alone an in-person birthday celebration) for a long time. We were happy that Blue Mountain Village was a green zone, and that the restaurants were open! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Tholos. The Saganaki...seemed to be a very popular appetizer that night. Almost every table had one (including ourselves)! Upon arrival, we informed them that we were celebrating a birthday. For dessert, they offered an amazing Baklava Cheesecake--imagine yummy cheesecake with a phyllo pastry shell around it. And they decorated the plate with a nice "Happy Birthday" message. The restaurant was very crowded. But they did a good job of having plexiglass dividers between tables. We did not feel unsafe there while eating our meals. Even the menus were not hard copy--scan the QR code to access, or view online.More

I went to Tholos and the customer service was so good! The best I’ve ever seen. My family and I got Spiros for our service and he is the funniest and sweetest person ever, his service was excellent. The food was so good I rate...it a good 11/10. Overall it’s an amazing restaurant and I recommend 100%.- Noah and TintinMore
