First important piece of info is the menu you see online is NOT the menu you get when at the restaurant, they told us the menu displayed online is for groups only....even though they also show you group menus online..anyways..this was only important to me because I have severe food allergies (Gluten & Dairy) and I need to know in advance where and what I can eat because there is usually only one thing on any menu I can eat. Turned out what I planned on having was not available but it was ok because they had one other option (besides a garden salad) I could have. I had a baked zucchini stuffed with rice and it sounds plain but OMG it was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, I want to add that I would never eat Zucchini normally so this was out of my comfort zone but I'm glad I ate it. I've eaten here on multiple occasions over the last few years because it's one of the only places I can trust with my food allergies, never once have I been sick from here. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is great. I have to commend this restaurant for stocking REAL premium liqors, my husband and I LOVE Don Julio 1942 (tequila) if you're a tequila drinker, and I'm not talking about people who need a lemon and salt with their tequila. Someone who can appreciate good tequila straight up without watering it down, this stuff is smooth and worth the extra $ for a quality drink! We spent more on this than on food. We can't wait to return AGAIN!!!

Amazing food and service

My wife and I did not have a reservation the day of the visit. It was a Sunday late afternoon. We were greeted by the hostess and were taken to a table. It was 5pm. Our server, Spiros, was amazing. His polite and friendly demeanour made our dinner a fantastic experience. We shared an appetizer of lamb chops that were cooked perfectly and were delicious. My wife had the beef souvlaki and is also was cooked perfectly. I had the Peggy’s pasta. It was also very good. Perhaps a little less sauce would have made it even better. The highlight for my was the Cucumber Collins that I had. The bartender was not around so Spiros made it for me. An amazing drink. We would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Greek food and a wonderful environment

Ok food, pricey for lack of quality

Walked up at 5 on a Saturday for dinner. Seated fairly quickly on the patio. Service good, attentive. Ordered the dips app, vino and beer. All came out quick. App good albeit $19 was a little pricey for what they offer. Both had the chicken souvlaki dinner at $29 each. We expected delicious moist chicken and potatoes and instead got over cooked, dry chicken and dry side dishes. For say $15-20 per plate we wouldn't have complained, but for what we paid this was a disappointment. Nice patio, good service, just pricey likely due to the location in the Village. We wouldn't return. PS. See my other reviews. Price isn't ever an issue/concern for us unless the food comes out sub par.

Unwelcoming and go eat somewhere else

I called ahead to make a reservation and was told they do not take reservations and it was walk in only. We showed up as a group of 6 and they asked if we had a reservation?? And was told our child has to sit with her parents? Where else would my child sit if not with me? Obviously no we did not have a reservation as per the phone call earlier, we were separated as a group a table of 4 and a table of two on the other opposite side of the restaurant which is weird. Many other large groups came in after us and were seated together. Our server asked for our drink order and came back about 15-20 mins later with 3 drinks and never came back with my drink. Roughly another 20mins later my tea came and was put in front of me with no apology for the wait or anything. Our food came and our vegetable sides were raw which were inedible. Honestly our servers came to EVERY other table but ours to check on them, refill drinks etc.. We paid our bill came downstairs and was told to leave through the back side door? This place is over priced the service was horrendous and there are many many other options for dining, don’t waste your time or money!

Great food and service with a fun atmosphere

First time there with some ski friends for a dual belated birthday celebration. Very lively atmosphere - great vibe. While there were some large TV's behind the bar playing the Raptors game, they was there more for information as opposed to a focus by patrons. Service was excellent. Our waiter always seemed to be there when you needed something. Food was also excellent. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals. There was a lot of 'meal sharing' going on, so everyone could sample everything on the table. There is an upstairs area, although I forgot to check it out. It is a place that is great for a get together of 4 or more. It might be a tad loud for a romantic dinner for 2, although that might be the purpose of the unseen upstairs.

Terrible waste of an evening.

Experience was abysmal. Checked in at 7:45, parts of our meal began to arrive close to 9pm. Our daughters meal arrived 15-20 minutes after ours, and the sides also arrived near the end of the meal. No care or attention...we were left feeling invisible. We eat out all the time, and always love our experiences...this was shockingly disappointing. No one checked in w us, virtually no communication.

Very nice meal

We had a Greek salad to start which was big enough for 3 of us. We all had the chicken souvlaki which was very good, they offered two sides which included potato, rice and veggies. No bread offered, you had to pay for that which was a bit chincy in our opinion. $29 for each entree. Our bill came to $145 with the meals and a tip.

Aweful service and food

Called in for take out order and the lady on the phone said to call back because the person who takes orders was not available. She had a huge order and couldn’t take the call. The girl on the phone did not have the ability to take the take-out order. “You have to call back”, we were instructed. This made us completely wipe them from our option. We decided to try them the next day as we walked to the village. Came in for takeout for a Greek salad. Servers at the front were welcoming and friendly. I went to the bar to place an order for my salad. I ordered a Greek salad and was shocked when I saw the bill for $20. I ordered it regardless because I still wanted the salad. I was expecting a huge salad for $20 of lettuce. When I received it, it was a small takeout container. This was not a large salad. As I started to eat the salad in my hotel, a quarter of the package was taken by the dressing container. Another quarter was taken by the feta cheese and only half of it was salad with soggy onions and tomatoes that were very soft and acidic. This is the worst salad I ever had I will NEVER order here again. Ripped off 100%!

Caesar salad—ask for dressing on the side

My husband ordered the arctic char and loved it. I ordered the Caesar salad and it was drenched in a thick dressing. I have never had a Caesar salad with so much dressing before. In hindsight, I should have asked for the dressing on the side. At the end of the meal, I told the waitress I could not eat it because the salad was soaked in dressing. She was a wonderful waitress (Nicole) and I could not blame her. She removed the salad from the bill which was most appreciated. Please think about the amount of dressing you are putting on your salads. Absolutely overkill!

Best restaurant

This is one of the best restaurants. I don’t know how anyone could rate this place low. Obviously you will have to wait for a seat, they don’t take reservations. We waited ~40 mins during dinner hour on a weekend, they just call you when your table is ready so you can walk around the village. The Greek beer is delish. We had this flaming cheese thing, also delish. Chicken souvlaki, Greek salad and grilled octopus all delish! Our server was great and very attentive. 10/10 recommend

Average Food, Not Good Value

I would not go back. Food was pricey and very average. The menu stated Greek lemon roasted potatoes for example which was a lie - they were boiled. The wait staff was inexperienced but due to covid this is understandable and completely forgivable. The music was Greek and nice.

4 May 2024 8.30 pm we went 2 of us to Tholos restaurant but we left disappointed. I am Greek waiter working in Toronto Greek town so i can explain what wasn't good.Possitive the Lamb I order was soft no dry small portion for 38 dollar no bread no salad. I Toronto in the restaurant I work Lamb comes with Salad and bread and cheaper from 38 dollar .My friend order pasta the pasta was very spice without to inform to the menu I try it was spice .THey put us upstairs by the window the waitress dint give us the service we expect. Iam a waiter knows what I have to do she did mistake about my beer I order 12oz beer brought 12 but charch me for full pint in the end avoid us to put water in our glasses after we ask .ANd no wifi in the restaurant we ask 2 waiters staff one of them brink a password dint working. Our first time to this Restaurant is so disappointed. Avoid better places beside.

HONEYMOON NIGHTMARE

Yesterday we showed up to a completely DARK restaurant. We had a reservation for 8pm - for our HONEYMOON- and the restaurant was completely shut down. Little did we know, the complex had a power outage earlier that day, and they never opened up for dinner. We were stranded for dinner and had to look elsewhere to eat that night. The next day, we gave it another shot. 7pm resos. The food was good. But only good. Our meat came medium well...even though we asked for medium-rare. And while we had told our server about our experience the night before, AND about our honeymoon, we were not met with compensation or empathy. We will NOT be back on the future.

the food was amazing, the atmosphere fantastic, but server 000060 changed all that, The place was not busy, but she kept on asking if we were ready to order every 2 min. When she came back again our friend asked her what was on tap, which she replied didn't you read the bar list, that did not even have the beers that were on tap. She really set the mood in a negative way. The problem is I still gave a tip because the cook staff deserved it.

Limited options not friendly priced for healthy eaters

Disappointed. We were here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon place was not busy at all very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Menu was very limited. Basically we all ordered chicken souvlaki that only comes with fries for 25$ no substitute for rice potatoes or salad. They had 4 oz chicken souvlaki to add to Greek salad for $7 which we ordered but waitress decided that was probably not the size we would want so she gave us the 21$ chicken souvlaki skewer size from the dinner menu. My wife was not happy having paid more for her 42$ than our friends who got chicken souvlaki with fries and side salad for 35$. Not happy won’t go back
