We really enjoyed our dinner at Tholos. The restaurant layout and décor is quite lovely - a blend of a ski lodge and a traditional Greek Restaurant. The menu had a lot to choose from and our server was very helpful in suggesting dishes and...the right amount of food for two. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. In particular, we loved the traditional lighting of the saganaki which was carried off with style! We will certainly go back and highly recommend this restaurant.More

There were so many good dishes on the menu here that you have to allow for a few days to come back and try a few of them. The prices are of course a little high but it's a tourist trap. I enjoyed the salmon...and the lamb shank looked wonderful. One of the better restaurants in BM.More

The worst dining experience ever! I've been to restaurants when the service and or food wasn't up to par, but this one takes the cake! I've never walked out of a restaurant after being seated for over 90 minutes and didn't get to eat dinner....Tholos was out go to spot when vacationing up at Blue. Always consistent food and service. Even during the pandemic they cranked out good food and great service. Sadly after 13 years and many visits to Tholos the streak has ended. The restaurant was not busy - steady but not busy. We were seated for 90 mins before our entrees were even close to coming to the table. 30 mins after we ordered our entrees, our server just became aware that they are out of Pork Souvlaki which my daughter had ordered as her entree, 30 mins prior (a Greek restaurant that is open every day for dinner is out of Pork Souvlaki?). My daughter politely asked for chicken. 30 more minutes to buy and I witnessed 3 servers arguing with what appears to be a dysfunctional kitchen staff. The manager comes to our table and I ask her what is happy with our food, she apologized. Then begins to tell me they are out of one of the sides (you get 2 sides with your Souvlaki - rice, beans, veggies, or potatoes). You mean to tell me that an hour after the server takes our entree order you tell my entire table they don't have one of the sides? Are you kidding me? Food comes, the manager goes to a few other tables to do damage control as at least 4 or 5 other tables were playing the waiting game too. My chicken comes on a plate with a heap of rice (no second side), chicken looked dry and it was cold to the touch. My wife's - pink. None of the Chicken Souvlaki dinners each of us orders looked like it was even marinated. Here comes the manager again as I stand up. She's embarrassed, agrees we shouldn't be charged for our meal and apologized again. As of 9:40pm no dinner and no place to pivot as everything closes early in the village. The restaurant should not have been open for dinner as clearly the kitchen wasn't up to the task. We never had a bad experience at Tholos, used to be one of the most consistent and enjoyable places to eat at every time we were at Blue. Unfortunately I don't think we can take the chance next time we are up. Very disappointed.More

The food was awesome, the ambiance was great. The baklava was one of the top 3 deserts I’ve ever had. The best though was our server, David. We were having a not so great evening - one restaurant- server never showed up and our second...restaurant was booked so couldn’t seat us. David changed the entire evening. He was funny and charming - kids loved him and so did my wife and I.More

It is not everyday that I’ve had a meal where there was no detail that wasn’t perfect. This was one. The service was amazing. Big shout out to Jess for taking such good care of us. The food we ordered was perfectly prepared and tasted...fantastic. Every aspect of our meal from drinks to desert was A1. I highly recommend the Crème Brûlée. We will be back her next time we are here.More

Located within the Blue Mountain Village. The interior of this restaurant reflects an old school rustic traditional village. I tried the grilled octopus, fried calamari, Greek salad and chicken souvlaki dinner, which comes with a side of potatoes and veggies. Overall, everything tasted fresh and...delicious!More

This was definitely the best restaurant on the resort. It had really tasty food. The beef stew was definitely the best. It was the special on the day we went and it was the right choice. Highly recommended.

We were very excited to spend our New Year Eve dinner at Tholos Greek restaurant but what a disappointment!!!!. We were here last year 2021 and decides to come back for the same first seating like last year . Menu completely changed! No appetizers at...all , no even bread !!! Even if you pay for it !’ That is the minimum you can expect bread !!!. My teenage kids had to get kids menu because the menu was not what they were expecting ! No calamari’s , no chicken souvlaki’ nothing you can expect from a Greek restaurant. We spent over $450 for 5 people with 3 kids menu because of no choice.. and not even an apology form the manager !!! Plus my husband ordered chicken for his entree and it was raw .. it was replaced for a sword fish and hit charged ‘ Nothing was honoured by the restaurant after this big disappointment no even dessert ..! Not a good experience for the last dinner of the year just a big bill !!! :(More

who did everything right - but even she couldn’t Perform the miracles that would have been necessary about the dreadful, poor quality, pre-cooked and cold, UNAUTHENTIC! Greek food my sisters and I had last night. I live in Collingwood and had been to this restaurant...several times in the past, admittedly pre-Covid, and had only excellent memories so when my visiting sisters said they loved the idea of authentic Greek food more than all of the other choices we had in The Village, that’s where we decided to go and we all share the same opinion about our experience. We had decided to share four “appetizer” dishes, none of which were under $20 including a very drab very ordinary flavourless salad and the other 3 appetizers were between $24 and $28, Three of which should have been served hot and freshly prepared. Of the four dishes the only one that was only sort of OK and prepared freshly was the deep fried calamari and even at that it was nothing special and was served with very thick tsatsiki which Had only the merest teensiest hint of any cucumber or garlic - In other words thick Greek yoghurt and no other dips for the calamari. Though we had been asked how we wanted the loin lamb chops, they came out way too well done, scrawny and tough. Jesse got us a new order and even though these had been supposedly freshly cooked they had no flavour and the meat was again very poor quality lamb - tough, thin, sinewy and chewy, And just very poor quality and cut. When I had had them a couple years ago they were nice thick thick perfect -and perfectly cooked - little lamb lollypops, i.e., that is, right off of a rack of lamb - and all meat, no gristle or fat! The grilled octopus came with two reasonably generous-sized tentacles, rather over-cooked but cold when we got it, the first one of which was so tough it was hard to chew, the second one underneath when we got into it we found was actually much more tender and flavourful but again served cold even though it’s advertised as “grilled octopus” Which anyone would assume is a hot dish. The Greek salad was mostly Romain lettuce with barely a trace of onion or cucumber and for that matter the tomato and feta cheese was not exactly generous relative to the size of the salad and the amount of lettuce, either. also the dressing which was OK with simply drizzled on the top leaves - we had to ask for more dressing just so that all that lettuce might have some flavour! And it came with no Kalamata olives at all and Jesse very kindly got a few for us when we mentioned it. Of course, we were hungry and managed to make our way through the majority of it, but only very grudgingly! HORRIBLE and disappointing in the extreme. OH! And a supposedly Greek authentic restaurant had as it’s special last night English style fish and chips - go figure.More

We were so excited to eat here.....don't waste your time, no SERIOUSLY, when you get seated and wait 20 minutes for your server, who says she will get you water, and you wait another 10 watching other people arriving after you getting seated, getting drinks,...getting appies, she finally arrives and you have ask for your water again and order saganaki and she says she can't do it on the patio, her lighter doesn't work properly, maybe get another lighter or have someone help you. We just got up and left. So sad.More

My husband ordered the arctic char and loved it. I ordered the Caesar salad and it was drenched in a thick dressing. I have never had a Caesar salad with so much dressing before. In hindsight, I should have asked for the dressing on the...side. At the end of the meal, I told the waitress I could not eat it because the salad was soaked in dressing. She was a wonderful waitress (Nicole) and I could not blame her. She removed the salad from the bill which was most appreciated. Please think about the amount of dressing you are putting on your salads. Absolutely overkill!More

the food was amazing, the atmosphere fantastic, but server 000060 changed all that, The place was not busy, but she kept on asking if we were ready to order every 2 min. When she came back again our friend asked her what was on tap,...which she replied didn't you read the bar list, that did not even have the beers that were on tap. She really set the mood in a negative way. The problem is I still gave a tip because the cook staff deserved it.More
