2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2016 via mobile

Friday 2nd September 8:30 pm. My husband and I visited hoping for a cornette, but that part was closed. Instead we went inside. The young man serving us practically threw the ice cream at me, he was banging doors and creating a bad atmosphere. The ice cream was fantastic but we ate and left within 10 minutes as he was... An institution! Simply the best ice cream, especially the strawberry. If in Pornic this place is essential. A sunny afternoon eating ice cream, watching the boats sail by and listening to the buskers. Who could ask for more?

Just go for the sorbets - that's why it started many moons ago when iy was just this yiny little shop and that is what it specialises in and get perfect. Lunch etc is ok, but that's a side function of the sorbet business. Fantastic delicious selection :)

Amazing strawberry sorbet , best we've ever tasted. Lovely sea views when tide is in. Lots of places to sit nearby so you don't have to eat in

Great flavours! Especially the strawberry! But what blew my mind was the caramel with salt from the region! Mind blowing! Not to mention the "icecakes" that have a variation of different flavors in colorful toppings!

Lots of delicious flavours of ice creams and sorbets. Whippy flavours too. The children would have happily visited every day and so would the adults!

You probably will not find better and more variety of icescream hundreds of miles on the coast. Do not get discouraged by the line - the service is really efficient. The environs are so lovely too - the castle, and a very cute walk on the beach, round the rocks, away from cars. They also sell yummy preserves, syrups and... More

They serve nice / average ice-cream, both soft-ice and scoops. Soft-ice has limited flavours, scoops has many, including some "local" flavours. All in all, nice btw really way to expensive. A family of 4, each having an ice-cream of 2 scoops will cost you close to 20 Euro ?!
