I visited the Pear Tree on Wednesday 22nd July with my husband and I used my tastecard to pay although Josh did say that it is advisable to book first which is absolutely fine. I then visited with family on Sunday 26th July and while ordering the waitress asked if we had a tastecard and said we could use it so you can imagine my surprise when I tried to use it when paying and I was informed that it isn't accepted anymore. Please can you clarify whether this is the case or not. Thanks a very frustrated regular customer.

My mother grew up in Bamber Bridge just down the road from your restaurant. We are planning a trip there this May, 2015 and will be visiting your restaurant. We would like to know if there is a hotel or bed and breakfast within walking distance that we could stay at for the weekend?
