Unfortunately they completely ruined my great experience with them!!Was amazed by the food and ambiance, but after I advertised this place to so many of my clients and friends they made me very disappointed!!We called Thursday night to reserve for table of 4 and got...lucky to reserve the table for Saturday. Friday my friend, who made reservation got call from the restaurant and didn't answer, because she was at work and couldn't pick up the phone. She didn't call back, because it was late,so next morning when she called back the reservation manager sad that our reservation has canceled, because we didn't confirm Friday!!Seriously from one day to next you have to confirm, and if you can't answer, or you lost your phone or something else, they just going to cancel your reservation and you wouldn't even know!!!!!First time I see thing like that!!!We have left with no other place to reserve the table, because it was too late on the Saturday!!!Very disappointed!!!More

Great food for take-away or dining-in. I'm a regular patron and highly recommend it. However, when seated inside a full house of customers is too loud to have normal conversation. I love the food and service but loud echoing decor is a negative.

We had planned to come have lunch here while on our camping vacation in Oka. We biked from our campsite to arrive and were informed it had not been re-opened since closing during Covid 19. They would update on google so others don’t have the...same experience.More

A friend had organized a group dinner for Friday March 13 at the Main Kitchen . my wife and I had confirmed we would attend. Unfortunately This turned out to be the day the gov’t announced the precautionary measures due to covid-19 and we cancelled...after hearing their recommendations to avoid crowds and public places. Apparently so did a few other invitees. The restaurant charged the organizer of our dinner $55.00 per cancellation. These are tough times for all and particularly the restaurant industry but the cancellation charge was equal to a 3 course dinner with taxes and tip. I realize this was a late cancellation and the restaurant deserves some compensation but the not the cost of a full meal . I reimbursed the organizer of the dinner $ 110.00 as she did pay the restaurant but can’t understand how they feel this was fair . I hope their food is easier to digest than their cancellation fee. As a side note they have posted on their website that they are their to support the community during these tough times . This was definitely not the case in this instance.More

Visited The main kitchen for the first time last night, enjoyed the open kitchen concept and liked the fact that it felt like we were dinning in a little market store :) Coming from the industry I do have a little constructive cristisim regarding the...service, the waitress was very nice and had a positive attitude but did not once do a quality check on the food or askhow we were doing. Once we had finished our first dishes we had pilled them at the corner of the table where they remained untouched for over 20 minutes. Food was amazing and loved the tapas style selection , great choices to please all tastebuds. I just feel that the service was not up to standards of what it could be. She was very nice but lacked on the steps needed to make it a great dinning experience.More

I cannot believe the quality, presentation and taste of the dishes we were served that night...and as a BYOB the price was lower than I could have imagined.

Very quaint little restaurant nestled in the heart of Hudson village ... from the out side you would walk right by it and that would be a mistake !! They say it’s a Tapas Menu ??well great bang for your buck, don’t be fooled what...they call Tapas are actually almost full size plates Had Squid Gnocchi with a fried Egg on top just UNBELIEVABLE !!! A must visit but you’d better reserve the restaurant holds from what I saw 20 seats Service is awesome waitress knew menu like the back of her hand and very friendly It’s bring your own wine and nobody pushes you out the door to turn a table ! check it out you won’t de disappointed !!More

Have not dined in yet, but did host a dinner party at Easter where the main portions of the menu were from The Main Kitchen. Also had the cannoli for dessert. They were filled just prior to pick-up. Utterly amazing. Thank-you MJ!!!

Great food and the husband / wife team are so accommodating. Steaks were cooked just right and salmon very juicy.

I highly recommend it! I always have the same sandwich but it is always as delicious as the ones I have ordered in the past. The service is excellent!

We tried the Main Kitchen for the first time last month, for dinner, and were blown away by the wonderful food! Everything, from the tuna poke and cauliflower salad to the pasta, braised veal cheeks and pork shank, was totally delicious. We loved the tapas-style...sharing menu. And the dessert ... we ordered cannoli and it was one of the best desserts I've had in a while. The prices were reasonable and the food quality was outstanding. We'll definitely be going again. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. You won't be disappointed.More

The Main hosts a wonderful atmosphere in an intimate setting. The wait staff & Head Chefs are all on point, eager to insure your experience is delightful. My date and I shared 6 tapas style plates... they were all amazing. The quality of food used...is definitely 5 star and the dishes created were truly unique. The menu has something to please every palate. Vegetarians, carnivores, & seafood lovers alike, will all find something lovely to tantalize the taste buds. They also make their own bread. I couldn’t possibly offer enough praise. Just incase you’re not in the mood to dine out, they also host take-out counter & offer catering services! We were advised to play safe & book a reservation on weekends, as they are always fully booked. Oh, & did I mention, it is also bring your own wine!
