I absolutely loved the decor and ambiance of the place, they also have a lovely terrace to sit outdoors for cocktails or food. Was there for brunch, beautiful presentation, good service but mostly I was just so pleased to sit and admire my surroundings, will...be back for dinner with friends in the near futur of that I am certain.More

My husband and I were in Hudson for one night only, and were enjoying a drive and thought we’d stop at Le Cozy Cafe Bistro for a bite. We had the Elk appetizer, duck salad and butternut squash curry .... all delicious. The curry was...wonderfully presented, the kale was delicious and the curry Was oh so yummy! The duck was perfectly seared with a raspberry purée and wonderful greens. Peaches and cream creme brûlée with espresso for dessert. Cannot recommend enough ....More

Went for dinner - family of three. Ordered our meals and an appetizer. Our plates showed up with no appetizer arriving prior. I reminded the waitress and she asked if we still wanted the app - we declined. No “sorry”. Just “oh- ok then” I...had to ask for our empty water to be refilled on multiple occasions. My house salad was nothing more than a handful of baby spinach thrown into a bowl. I do this when in a rush to get out the door in the am from a bag of spinach from Costco. At least I’m not charging myself close to 10 bucks for I though. When I asked the server what vegetables came with the steak - her answer was “I don’t know.” Ordered desert for 2 and coffee for 2 - never offered a refill on our coffees either. 130.00 after tax and tip for 3 meals , two deserts and two brewed coffees. Happy to spend when going out but give me something for my money. Really underwhelming experience - the place is trying hard to have a vibe but should get back to basics and focus on fundamentals.More

Good food, good atmosphere, nice people! Always enjoy my visits to the cozy, and the last one didn't disappoint. If I can only make one suggestion, more vegetarian options would be great.

The egg in the Eggs Beni was hard, the potatoes were grey, the service very average. The decor is very nice though.

Saturday date night with hubby. With lots of choices in the area but nothing of greatness, we decided to give this gem a try...We were not disappointed. From the vibe of the place, to the excellent service and the amazing food, this shall now be...our 'go to' restaurant. The menus were beautiful, red leatherette binding, classy. The choice of entrées and mains, are a foodies delight, so much to choose from!!! For entrées, I had the warm beet salad (to die for), hubby had the veggie dumplings with peanut butter sauce (OMG), so good. As for the mains, I chose the sinful mac and cheese with crusted prosciutto and he chose the Rack of lamb, both dishes where delish! Dessert was a lava chocolate cake, A nice option at this restaurant is that you can order your wine by the glass. My only negative comment would be this place needs a wider selection of wines. Kudos to Jessica and her team!More

Very good, simple and clean food (meaning «healthy»). But a little overpriced in my opinion. Especially for such a remote area - this is not breakfast in a chic downtown Montreal establishment afterall.

A girls night out to celebrate my birthday. The day befor I had lunch there to ensure it was the place I wanted to celebrate my birthday. Lunch was okay. My son enjoyed his peanut dumplings. I had the seared tuna salad. The tuna could...have been dressed up a bit. Nothing a bit of salt did not solved. He had an amaretto drink which was excellent. I decided to have one on my girls night out. The waitress was awesome. Lunch was lovely. On the Friday night ordered the drink 🍹 nothing like Thursday sent it back, it was awful . Alll three of us enjoyed our entrees however water came at the end of the meal. The waitress spilled our drinks never cleaned it up. I had to ask her to remove the wet menu. I ordered a glass of wine 🍷 I had time to almost finish my meal befor she returned and said opp I forget your wine. I was not impressed with the service. So we all left without celebrating and most importantly without dessert.More

Firstly, the uniqueness of this eclectically designed resto, is worth a visit in the tiny sleepy town of Hudson. We arrived for lunch, but decided on breakfast instead. At first we considered eating outside on the terrace, but opted instead to go inside. The AC...was very cold, but upon request, it was turned off. Both of us ordered poached eggs with unfortunately were swimming in vinegary water. The crispy bacon we ordered was just a little too crispy to the point of shattering. The crepe was horribly rubbery in texture. We asked for replacements. and they were greeted with a smile and immediate improved versions. My crepe was replaced with 3 French toasts and real maple syrup. The food runs a touch pricey, but the portions of fruit, and sides, as well as excellent coffee and service, makes this resto, a hidden gem in Hudson.More

Hi Jessika, I grew up in Hudson and my Mom still lives there. We went to Cosy Cafe about a year ago and we throughly enjoyed the experience. It's hard to build a client base in such a small town, so I certainly feel the... More
