We ended up here in search for a last resort dinner with our hotel restaurant fully booked. It's a US-style restaurant in fast food setting, except that you can get wonderfully cooked high-quality meats next to burgers, kids meals and finger food, as well as good wines. The young staff offer a service that is sometimes hard to find even... More

Good for meat lovers. Nothing fancy, but high-quality beef meat, including the famed Charolais. A bit too much of a charcoal taste perhaps, but definitely a nice meal.

This is an American style diner/grill. But the burgers and salads and kids meals were perfectly OK for what we needed/expected. Hot food after a long journey with tired hungry young kids. You would not choose this place unless looking for quick convenient food on the move or with kids. But it ticked our boxes. Was not especially cheap though.

Visited this restaurant 4 years ago when we also stayed at nearby hotel on journey south. What a difference. Staff were quite rude this time and it was very disappointing. Drinks were forgotten and then wrong drinks delivered, service to get there attention was appalling. But the worst was the quality of the steaks. Never before have we received such... More

Well we always stop here en route as I have said as I don't have to deviate from my route and I am tired from travelling all day. We stopped here twice this time as we were fetching a relative to the UK and taking them home again. The 1st stop at the Hippo was its usual bearable the 2nd... More

Actually, we had dinner here only because all the other restaurant in the area were closed. I understood it's a grilled meat restaurant, there's nothing really wrong only it's a little bit too expensive for the food they're serving, some salad, hamburgers, meat with no special preparation... Also the beer is more expensive thant the average, but nothing tragic. Staff... More

This was the closest restaurant we could find to the etap hotel. Until we sat down I didnt know the prices but we were tired after a long day travelling. I thought the price of over £200 for a meal of burgers for 10 people seemed a lot but we each had a drink and 5 had deserts. Everything was... More

We eat here as it is the only place open on Sundays and we often arrive on a that day, tired and hungry and just of the motorway. It is, I would guess an American or American style restaurant tailored to the French palette but over priced for what you receive. It has a decent sized softly lit car park... More
