We visited in lunch hour and it was packed had about five parties in front of us. The turn around was fast enough we didn't wait that long. I was with 5years old kid and offered kid's utensil. It was clean and not cramped at all. They spoke English and had English menu.

After snowboarding for half a day, cold and starving, we went to this Ramen shop near the place we were staying. We saw a small queue so we thought it must be a good ramen place. I ordered the Asahikawa special with miso base and OMG the bowl was really huge with 4 slices of pork that is very well... More

We visited Tozanken 3 times this ski season and always wanted to come back. Great broth, great options of Ramen. Simple restaurant, very well located and with friendly staff.

Tozanken is the place to go for a satisfying bowl of ramen at the end of a day skiing. It has a good selection of ramen and rice dishes and very good value as well. A large bowl of ramen cost around 1100 yen. They open for lunch and evening and tend to get vey busy though.

The restaurant has excellent service, great food, and perfect central location but it is a little pricier than others. It is a classic Japanese restaurant that specializes in sushi, sashimi, sukiyaki, and ramen noodles. My kids loved it (boys ages 7 and 11). It is the only place they wanted to eat at twice during our stay!!!

We always come here when we are in town. Its good quality, clean, tasty bowl of hot ramen... perfect for lunch or dinner. Its so good that there is always a queue here but its well worth the wait. You want ramen, this is the place to be....

Whole Hirafu area is super touristy and pricy so it is surprising to find a decent ramen place with decent pricing as well. Ordered a shoyu ramen with gyoza while my buddy ordered at asahikawa special ramen, total cost 2.6k yen. Nothing spectacular but it's considered cheap. But be prepared to queue and wait
