Highly recommended for local seafood, especially lobsters. The Paradise is tiny, so book ahead, maybe even before you travel to Tobago in the high season. It is unpretentious with the focus on the food. Exactly what is available will depend n the catch that day,...so be prepared to be flexible, but it will be fresh and delicious. You also need to take your own booze, if that what you want with you meal. It is right on the beach. On the day we visited, the wind and waves were a bit high, which meant they had to move the tables back from the edge, to avoid getting splashed. Don't dress up! Go for the food, and have fun.More

We had heard about this restaurant and the lobster was excellent. We brought our own bottle of wine and the owner provided us with a wine chiller for our table. The decor was simple but lovely. We got there for sunset and enjoyed the meal...and ambiance.More

Title says it all, really simple menu but lobster is the star of the show. Lovely, small and genuine little restaurant that could easily be a bigger thing - would certainly make getting a table a bit easier!!! Quite simply the best meal we ate in Tobago. If there is a Groundhog day, please let this be part onf mine. The restaurant is small, only 5 tables, ergo you need to book. It is a very basic shack on the Pigeon point road.....But...who cares because the food is unbelievably good. There is a choice of fish or lobster. We had lobster, wedges and cold slaw. Now a word of warning; the lobsters come in 4 sizes.1/ Small ( it isn't) 2/ Small medium ( you will sit up and salute when it is served.3/ Large ( you may be asked to help the chef wrestle it into the pot. And 4/ Extra large, Lobsters this size had parts in 20,000 leagues under the sea ! It's bring your own booze so pop to the supermarket and get a bottle of Pinot Grigio chilled first. We visited here on the last night of our stay. We had our baby boy with us and Lynette was very accommodating, not making a fuss even when he got fussy. The food was delicious! We ordered Fried Plantains, Fried Fish with Wedges and salad...a med-small lobster. The lobster was huge! Sorry to say, but my husband and I ignored our son for a few minutes-so delicious was this food! We didn't stay for long because of the baby and although it was dine in, Lynette offered to foil and pack our stuff while we tried to settle the baby. It worked out well because when he fell asleep, we enjoyed every inch of the remaining food. That lobster was divine! The fish too was so fresh and fried to perfection! A must visit!More

Even if you just want to eat lobster once in your life, this is the place to do it. On the face of it, the restaurant is a small shack on the beach with only five tables. It is deservedly rated number 1 on Tripadvisor...because of the quality and good value of its lobster offerings. It is essential to pre-book. We had to take a 20.30 time to get a booking. As luck would have it, there was torrential rain for several hours in the late afternoon. We battled through the puddles along Pigeon Point and found we were the only diners at that late time. The waves were crashing into the dining area, onto the tables nearest the sea. No problem where we were sitting. You can order your lobster in one of four sizes: small, Medium small, Large and Gigantic. We chose medium small (for around $US 40) and were given three huge half-lobsters each. It was as much lobster meat as any reasonable person could eat, and absolutely delicious. They have no alcohol license and you can bring your own wine or beer for no charge. It was one of the most memorable meals of our lives. They serve fish too. The fact that these fish dishes are so reasonably priced tells you that the lobster prices are largely based on the high cost of Caribbean lobsters in the market. The restaurant adds only a modest amount for its own substantial contribution to your enjoyment.More
