We loved Casa De Campo a very reasonable price with delicious set menu's we even went to the cella to choose our very good Malbec. We came back twice to this restaurant. Extremely authentic up market food and good chefs. George the owner went out of his way when we arrived to help with our accommodation and even walked us... More

The staff were friendly and spoke some English. The food was some of the best food I've ever had and would recommend anyone in the Maipu area to stop by. I don't think you would be upset with any of the dishes on their menu.

Hired bikes which the restaurant kindly kept safe in a side room. Food was delicious - a real wholesome/home cooking style - use of clay oven - meat was succulent and tasty. Service was attentive without being rushed. While our Spanish is practically zero the server took time to talk us through things in English and advise on wines to... More

The atmosphere was a perfect mix of rustic elegance. The food was excellent, and serving size was large. The had a pretty extensive selection of wine. The service was very fast, and all the staff was very friendly!

This is the only restaurant near Posada Verde Olivia where we stayed. We ate here every lunch for 3 days and loved the server "Damian" a young happy energetic young man. Damian is eager to serve and is learning several languages; speaks English well. The wine list is wonderful as is all over Mendoza area. We loved the Rabbit they... More

We shared empanadas and a small cold plate. It was very delicious and the staff was very friendly. They showed us the wineroom and also spared a bottle of champagne. I can really recommend this restaurant!

We arrived at the Casa de Campo hot and hungry (and a bit cross with life!) after a bicycling trip where our lunch destination was shut (between Christmas and New Year) we cycled for ages before finding an alternative - what luck we had! Casa de Campo was perfect. They made us feel so welcome and even took our bikes... More

After visiting a few wineries in the region, the appetite tends to open up considerably. Good thing Casa de Campo is nearby. If you are looking for a "Gaucho" dinning experience, this place is it at least for Mendoza. The meat dishes are local and hearty: suckling pig, grilled and braised beef, stewed rabbit and empanadas that make grandma ask... More

The staff was so friendly and it was near our hotel so we went back twice. The meals were large so we always split. Good house wine. The roasted rabbit was incredible and falling off the bone. The chicken was good, but was a nice break from all the beef. Great place to eat especially midweek when not much else... More

Our remi driver recommended this restaurant as he was taking us to several wineries! So, our last day in Mendoza, we rented a car. This was our spot for lunch. Most meals were pre-fixed. It included an appetizer, meat/cheese plate, main dish/veggies & dessert. Prices ranged from 180-220 pesos. Beverage extra. We thanked our remi driver for the tip.

Description
Welcome to “Casa de Campo”Welcome to our home. A humble and rustic place like the one we lived in when we were small. The place of open arms, with the mud oven; the house of the Mendoza viticulture man, who at 6 AM was out in the vineyard before sunrise working until sundown. The house of the home-made bread and cured ham, the house of the “mate”, the house that at 11 AM starts to smell of home-made food, the house whose dishes invite you to a nostalgia of “remember how grandma used to make it”. Welcome to plain and simple ...... to freshly made, to home-made, to a friendly atmosphere; to listen to our folklore, to having a good time.Welcome to tradition, to the regional cuisine ...... to something different; to the chopped pickles and improvised snacks, to the mud-oven baked piglet or rabbit, to the home made empanadas and the home-made desserts, all accompanied by some of the finest wines of Mendoza.Welcome to Casa de Campo; not a restaurant, but a place where we transport ourselves back in time to the times where everything was homemade and healthy, to a time we would all love to go back to.
