It's a lovely spot, and the food ain't half bad. But the waiters appear to be surly graduates of the Hungarian campus of the Basil Fawlty school of hospitality. Could be worth a visit just for the experience! ;-)

We were there ordering one veal goulash and beef goulash, 50 minutes waiting for the food, after us they arrived two other tables they were served before us. At the moment to ask why so long waiting, they didn't even say sorry or anything. Absolutely to avoid, normal food and inadequate service.

Too much salt in soup as well as the main dish:( The waiter was not very friendly, brought a bigger drink than I asked for. It has a central location, but that's the only plus.

The mulled wine with dried plum and the bread with goose fat and purple-onions ring were delicious! Good serving and nice atmosphere. Simple perfect!

2 main courses, 2 deserts, 1 coke, 3 pints Heineken, 9635HUF bargain. Don't speak much English but they have a multilingual menu so point and eat no problem. Weather was very warm so sitting outside was nice.

I was there on a sunday evening and had a fishsoup and some potato salad...it´s true that prices are low, but also the quality of dishes is very low. the soup and the potato salad had the same taste...knorr. the staff is friendly and the location is nice, but it´s not worth to go there for the staff or the... We had a Saturday lunch in July. Fisherman's soup and Gulash were poor. Further fish dishes were without taste, but heavy due to lots of oil. Ratatouille meant four slices of grilled tomatoe and three slices of grilled zucchini. Not recommended. Not even for cost/benefit.

Very nice pleasant surroundings sitting outside with agreat view of the church, the waiter was really helpful and spoke English and there was a good selection of dishes on the menu. Good home cooked Hungarian dishes were available and that is what i enjoyed. Good selection of wines and all at a very reasonable price. Worth a visit.

I ate lunch and a cake as dessert. Lunch was ok, but very greasy. The cake had an ugly taste. After finishing one half i was struck by the mould at the back and the bottom. I showed it the waiter, who tried to reject the blame by arguing that he normally doesn't eat such things and therefore does not... More
