Got the seafood platter for 2, expected a half decent meal but what came out was disappointing; 2 mussels, 2 calamari and 2 baby octopus scattered around the most oily fish I have ever tasted. Very frustrated by the experience as we had made the effort to go back to the restaurant after enquiring. We were also were charged for... More

Fish was fresh and perfectly grilled, zucchini balls were the best of all we tried on the island. Markos showed us real Greek hospitality spoiling us with his delicious special salad and desert on the house. We enjoyed his company and tips about visiting paros and antiparos. One of the best memories during our holidays. We're looking forward to come... More

Maria at our hotel (Akrotiri) recommended Mouragio to us, so we decided to go for lunch. We sat outside; the restaurant overlooks Piso Livadi, so it's in a beautiful location. The owner, Marco, was so lovely and welcoming from the outset - he's a real character and we loved chatting with him! He very proudly brought out the fresh fish... More

We have been to this restaurant during our first night in Paros, since we read so many good reviews about this place we decided to try it. The hospitality of the owner was great ! He made us feel very welcomed and we appreciated his attentions . When it comes to the food I must say that it is not... More

We had the octopus in vinegar which was much better than other octopus we have had in Greece and tasted super fresh. Also the grilled squid was tasty: more like a light batter and was crispy and tasty. The shrimp saganaki were not the best we've had, there were just 4 prawns (they were large though) but the sauce wasn't... More

One of the reasons we look forward to returning to Paros, is enjoying lunch at Mouragio. Paros has been our annual holiday destination for the past 12 years and from experiencing many of the tavernas over that time, this is without doubt one of the very best on the island. A great location, by the waterfront at Piso Livadi, warm,... More

fish was not fresh! Not clean. What we eat was did not smell tasty like it should. Moussels were more than strange; there are fortunately other restaurants in Piso Livadi!

Extremely overpriced, especially the local spirit (souma) was at least three times the average price, low quality frozen sea food without taste. Small portions of food, average service. Overall below the average. Keep in mind that we are Greeks and we can judge the local plates.

We had decided to try Mouragio for a 2nd time and were driving towards the pier in order to park. A car had blocked the road for long time (even though its driver could have parked 10 meters away). The driver was very rude. What a coincidence, he was the owner of Mouragio, indifferently unloading supplies! When I implied he... More

Our restaurant is located near the port of Paros, on the main seaside road. It’s a family business with activity for almost 25 years. Mr Stamatios Tsantanis, the owner, is a fisherman all his life. You can enjoy your meal near the sea, watching the famous rocks “Portes”, with friendly service and reasonable prices.
