We went for dinner and were not disappointed. Venison for both of us, cooked just right and with a generous, but not gluttonous, dauphinois potatoes, small mushrooms and an excellent jus. For dessert we shared a dish of French and Italian cheeses, nicely served with strawberries...More

The best restaurant within easy reach of Swindon, the service is very attentive and the gin selection is superb.

Attentive staff, warm welcome and a cozy ambiance set the theme for a memorable evening meal. Good selection on the menu with more than the expected "run of the mill" offerings. Try the duck fat chips and American onion rings. Food expertly cooked and presented....More

Good fresh starter of Thai fish cakes and gorgeous dessert. However at £27 I expected more from the steak than a dollop of mash, a handful of rocket and an unpleasantly overpowering sauce. Rather let the meal down unfortunately, especially with that kind of price...More

We booked a table for 12noon, seated very quickly by the young but extremely courteous and polite team of staff. Drinks order taken immediately, a refreshing change not to be overcharged for a large bottle of sparkling water with lime! Starters were light and delicious;...More

This used to be a really interesting dining experience however it was obvious that it is not providing the same level of service and quality anymore. Will not be returning.

Can I check whether Colleys still do the Special Sunday Lunches ? Not been for a few years and thinking that it would be a nice treat for a big birthday coming up. MB

Colleys is not the same set up as it used to be, therefore if you have not been for a few years it will certainly be different. For a special occasion be sure you are happy with the venue & menu. Hope this helps

I didn't see any toilets other than the ones upstairs, but it would be best if you rang them, they are very helpful.

A chefs love of casual dining from the brasseries of New York to the street food markets of London & Bangkok. Our menu is written to suit all tastes, steaks from Royal Wootton Bassett, fresh seafood daily & inspired choices for meat eaters & vegetarians. every chef has an input into our writing, cooking & plating. We also have a taste the world evening once a month, full details are always available on our website & social pages. Anything from a 1950's American diner to an Indian street food bazaar. these evenings always sell out so keep your eyes peeled! Our bar is home to 80 of the worlds finest gins all carefully married with a perfect garnish to highlight the true flavour. Any questions on gin just ask for Tom & he'll guide you through the different styles. Colleys is in a 16 century coaching inn with lots of character matched with a casual modern decor. Still owned by the same chef who has worked at colleys since its early days in the 1990's. The kitchen team is now led by the tastes of Chef Nick Oborne. Private parties are easily organised wether it be a coctail party, evening or lunch set menu celebration, a gin tasting event, wedding, or any other group requirement...we are hear to help.
