We stumbled upon this place because of the micro brewery but soon discovered the food was just as good as the beer and cider. The wings were crisp and tasty; the burger was fresh and flavourful (possibly one of the best); and the Rueben was...thick and delicious. Our server was friendly, attentive and made excellent recommendations. The view of the water and the general atmosphere were pleasant. Overall excellent value for the money. We look forward to returning.More

Five of us visited the restaurant for lunch. We were seated immediately with menus on the table. The server arrived shortly and took our drink orders. She later took our food orders. The orders for the table included two bowls of chowder, two lobster poutine...and a Reuben sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was great.More

We were expecting something with a bit more ambience. There were lots of empty tables outside and it was a gorgeous night but the staff were assigned indoors unfortunately. That meant, it was loud (lots of people and speakers blaring). It was busy enough that...the tables were dirty and it just felt a bit icky. The food was a mixed bag of great and not good. The fish my partner had was gooey; the tagliatelle was fantastic and the scallops were not seared. Lot of other choices in the area.More

We have been to the Port many times. This last visit was very nice. We opted to sit outside since inside was way too noisy for our liking. Food was good. Miss some of the older dishes though

We've seen The Port Pub many times and always wanted to try it. We finally wen on May 15 for my birthday. First impressions were great. Staff was pleasant, masked and very attentive. The eating area tables were nicely spaced to allow for distancing. All...in all we were very pleased. We ordered onion rings as a starter, my husband felt they were the best he's had anywhere. For mains we had the fish and Chips and the Beef Dip also with fries. Both were very good. I also tried the Planters Pale Ale, very nice beer to have with a meal. In total our bill came to 62.04, worth every cent. I look forward a return visit to try the wings!More

The Port in Port Williams N S is a hidden gem. Sitting beside a meandering tidel river over looking the centuries old dyke built by the French Acadian settlers This is a pleasnt place to sit back and enjoy one of the provinces cold craft...beers and sample some delicious snackes, on a warm summer afternoon. The staff are very friendly and go out of their ay to make sure your visit is relaxing and comfortable. On most days one can see the open Bay from the patio or watch some of the highest tydes in the world move up the river. But what about the food . Very good made with locale ingrediants from the surrounding farms. fresh, cooked as you request and persented in a very pleasant manner. Brunch is served on Sat and Sun mornigs starting at 11:00 PM. If your visiting the Annapolis Valley drop into this pud you will not be disappointed.More

The Port Pub and Bistro is one of our favourite go-to eateries in the Wolfville area. We’ve eaten there often and it rarely disappoints. Today was no exception. My wife and I wanted a light lunch. I opted for the small Caesar salad accompanied with...local scallops. That’s it. Nothing more. The ingredients were fresh, the scallops were well seared on the outside but moist on the inside, and everything was carefully plated. Add the view of a rising tide on the Cornwallis River and nothing gets much better than this. Mary Ellen, our waitress, was especially attentive.More

A local hang-out. What a great place. Superb bar service, good selection of beer on tap and even a cider as well. We did not eat here but the food that passed us by looked decent.

Bad first impression from the hostess who was completely unhelpful when one of our party lost a mask thus couldn't be admitted. Once seated, the service was slow. One of three orders was wrong and by the time it arrived the meal was all but...over for the other diners. Such for as did arrive properly was decent, but no more than that.More

First time I was with my teenage daughter who needed some cheering up. She loved going to a “ pub” and sitting at the high pub table. It was a beautiful day and it was high tide and late afternoon which made for a great...view with cancers and kayakers paddling by. She loved her Cajun chicken burger and I loved loved loved the lamb burger and the $5 Ceasers on Sunday! The second time I took my hubby who was jealous he missed out the first time. He had the Enormous haddock fish and chips and I had the Port Skillet off the brunch menu. Both were delicious! We also had the whisky torte which was to die for. My only complaint is that the table was not cleared of empty glasses when a refill was brought....More

This is the third year in a row we went here for our anniversary dinner. It never disappoints. We had the onion rings with ponzu sauce, pork schnitzel, butter chicken and chocolate pecan pie for dessert. We tried the moscow mule with blackberry liquer, an...aperol spritzer and the blueberry cream soda. All delicious! We will definitely be back again!More

From the moment we entered the door we felt welcome in this extremely friendly restaurant. We were told that the special was a spicy jambalaya and we indicated our enthusiasm for spice. They delivered with an eye-wateringly and stomach warmingly delicious spicy dish with large...shrimps and chunks of delightful smoked ham in a tomato sauce with large pieces of hot pickled pepper. It was fantastic as were the hostess and server. Great food! Great service! We wish we were in the area longer so we could go back to try more of the menu.More

We stopped in port Williams to have lunch and we were delightfully surprised to find the Port . Fairly new and wonderfully decorated restaurant. The lady greeting us as well as the server gave about the best customer service we have had in a long...time . Extremely pleasant and helpful . We had our choice as to whether we wanted to sit inside or outside . We chose outside and we had a table off by ourselves overlooking the river . Lots of benches and flowers surrounded us . We chose the brunch menu and the lobster Benny was cooked exactly the way I liked it and was delicious ! Well done the port !More
