Long wait to be seated awkwardly at a wet table. Many menu items unavailable. Food was so so. Don't see how reviews here reflect reality. Friendly server. There are many better options.More

Hi Mr. Deshpande, We agree, there are many menu items that have been unavailable over the last 6 weeks, as our local suppliers have had shortages and we have been unable to keep certain items in stock. We find it most unfortunate that you did...More

We stopped in port Williams to have lunch and we were delightfully surprised to find the Port . Fairly new and wonderfully decorated restaurant. The lady greeting us as well as the server gave about the best customer service we have had in a long...time . Extremely pleasant and helpful . We had our choice as to whether we wanted to sit inside or outside . We chose outside and we had a table off by ourselves overlooking the river . Lots of benches and flowers surrounded us . We chose the brunch menu and the lobster Benny was cooked exactly the way I liked it and was delicious ! Well done the port !More

Excellent food and wonderful service. Pamela was so friendly and professional. The food was served hot and with a smile. We have had disappointing food a few years ago, but the last 3 times this month were excellent. The food was perfectly cooked and very...flavourful. Get the bowl of chowder- well worth it! And have a dessert! Excellent. Lastly, take the time to get a spot on the deck to watch the tide.More

A beautiful pub with a wonderful view of the river. A gorgeous day to sit on the patio and enjoy a local craft beer. Our server was so friendly and warm and the food was amazing. Definitely a place to stop in and check out...if you are in the area.More

I quite enjoyed this place: as a vegetarian, it's STILL not easy to eat out and have your dietary needs met ... beyond "salad". I ate well, enjoyed every bite, and the location was wonderful.

This place is always lined up with all the pandemic restrictions. Is it worth the wait, sometimes up to an hour? I can't say. We chose halloween night to go for supper, knowing it wouldn't be busy. We do that a lot, go when things...are not busy, keep that in mind when reading my reviews. We arrived around 6pm and after going through the covid procedures we were seated within minutes. Miki, our server, is a true professional, I would even say she enjoys what she does. She was attentive, without hovering, she was thoughtful, creative, and knew her product. She was also witty and a pleasure to chat with. If you follow my reviews you know I don't tip lightly, in fact only a handful of times in the last two decades, of which three were in Nova Scotia, one being tonight. We ordered fried pickles and scallops for an appetizer. They were both cooked perfectly, but it was the sauce that sent our taste buds into sensory paradise. I can't remember what the dipping sauce for the pickles was called, I will call it a party in your mouth. The drizzle around the scallops was equally as wonderful. For mains, I had the first real, true tasting Rueben sandwich I have had in decades, instantly I was transported to 80's Toronto, and the deli's we frequented, especially in the garment district. The home cut fries were crispy on the outside, and tender inside. My partner commented on their lamb burger, how juicy and flavorful the burger itself was. We often find burgers to be bland, with sauce being the selling feature and Lamb can often be dry. Not here, these guys have one heck of a kitchen team. Very impressive. They have a relatively small menu which I find allows for much better quality. Oh and quantity was not an issue either. The appetizers were bigger than anticipated and we ended up with doggie bags for leftovers. The gravy was bland, it didn't come home. Oh, almost forgot, they have vegan options, in fact the burger bun was made from potato and leek, very yummy.More

Atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. We shared the harvest salad (Delish) and hubby had the pan fried haddock with the cauliflower rice (Delish) and I had the pork schnitzel. The food presentation was lovely and the food was fantastic. We really enjoyed it and...the service was excellent. We will definitely return. Should have went here long ago!More

We decided to wait over an hour to have dinner here last weekend. We did not have reservations and they were very busy. However once we got in it was lovely and the service was very nice. They take the covid precautions seriously and I...felt very comfortable. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, my friends had fish and chips and butter chicken. I had the pork schnitzel dinner. It was not a true schnitzel it wasn't a pounded out piece of pork that is tender but more like two breaded thin boneless pork chops. They were a little hard to cut through but I must say all of the flavours were delicious and the vegetable sides were lovely. My sangria was a bit of a miss as it just tasted like fruit juice but overall we had a really nice time and the meal was nice.More

While visiting the local wineries we decided to stop in for lunch. I’ve been a bit Leary of places calling themselves a Gastro Pub as I often find them no better than your neighborhood pub except with higher prices. We arrived to find the restaurant...has very good Covid protocols and well spaced tables. The weather was nice and we managed to get a table on the patio. My wife had the scallop appetizer which was excellent and a decent size, I decided to try the burger and cannot say enough good things about how tasty it was. We paired our lunch with local beer and wines. We’re already planning to come back to try dinnerMore
