There are several authentic dance ensembles on Easter Island, but only one that explains the history and culture of the Rapa Nui people in Spanish and English: Te Ra’ai. Upon arriving my friends and I were escorted to sit around an open fire pit and listen to live traditional music. (We opted to see the show only forgoing the dinner.)... More

Touristy and expensive but the package does include hotel pick up and return, welcome drink, H'orderves, face paint, hangi food cooking and unearthing ceremony, dance lesson, 2 course dinner, wine, water and show. The women dancers certainly know how to shake their hips and the buffed young men gyrating their stuff are mesmerising. Oh and keeping with the tourist theme... More

I enjoy the show and knowing more about this incredible Rapa Nui Culture, The food was great wraped in banana leafs and cook in an authentic Rapa Nui oven under ground. I will love to repeat my visit next year.

This is not just a good restaurant but the best Traditional Dance in the island. I.already so satisfied with the food, but when dancers, singers And a Master of ceremony came out on stage, it simply blew my mine. Amazing

Three days a week. Serves curanto food at every show, which is very nice and smokey. The show is nice too... Though could be a tad shorter.

The food is a 'Curanto' (typical Chilean pit cooker) and it's a buffet style serving. The food gets a very nice smokey flavor from the hot stones and banana leaves it gets cooked in, though the pork had too much fat for my taste and the fish came out a bit dry. The show was great and well worth the... More

The food is average but you get to see how they cook it the traditional way (very interesting). The show after dinner is very nice and entertaining, the dancers are great and you can get an explanation of their customs and traditions. I recommend it!

First there was a young girl dancing (wearing jeans) and then a (fat) boy dancing too. Not too exiting. Then the food - some of the food was prepared in the earth. And that was good and interesting. The buffet was allright, but we did not have the time to enjoy it. The show was rather good. The chairs were... More

Got picked up from our hotel to enjoy this interactive cultural experience including a traditional meal - cooked underground like a hangi, but it's called an "Umu". We had our faces painted whilst traditional songs were being sang and issued a cocktail to start the night. We even had to perform some traditional dance moves ourselves which was quite fun... More
