The calamari was some of the best I've had. I'm not a fan of curry, but this is the dish Vaima is known for, and it was really good!

We visited again on the strength of the food and location (on the beach dining) based on an enjoyable visit on our last trip. If anything, the food and service had improved. Very handy if you are staying near Vaiimanga, or otherwise worth stopping in.

The wait staff at this restaurant could have been better. After our food was served, we were never asked if we were ok, if we needed anything else or etc. However, the two tables near us were repeatedly waited on. We had to wave at a waiter just to get a refill of our drinks.

So relaxing sitting at the beach with a drink in hand watching the dogs make friends with those walking the beach. Great sunsets.

Stopped next door to buy some smoked marlin. Had a look around and decided to go back for dinner later. Definitely glad we did. Great meal and an amazing night setting out back. Would definitely go back again. Beef wellington and seafood curry very good.

Like one of the other reviewers mentioned there are a lot of great places to eat in Raro and this is certainly one of them. We had been recommended Viama by a friend before we departed for our holiday so were keen to try it out, did not dissapoint. I have the fish one of the nicest bits of fish... More

There are an extraordinary number of good places to eat in Rarotonga, particularly considering the small size and population of the island (10k). Viama is worth a visit for dinner. The food was very good when we visited. It is within walking distance of Palm Grove where we were staying. It has tables indoors and outside on the sand leading... More

We are situated right on the beach. Imagine sitting on the beach with the sun setting, sipping your favourite cocktail and enjoying some of the best cuisine on the island - how romantic! We also offer a pizza take away service - forget the cooking - enjoy our pizza in your room/hotel or just sit on the beach with your feet in the water enjoying the food. We can cater for small private functions and weddings. Look forward to seeing you at the Vaima. We recommend that families book between 5.30 and 6.30 pm.
