We often come here. Its a taxi ride away, but consider it our local as the good food, choice of beers and live music at weekends makes it worth the taxi fare.

Me and a group of friends often go here every other week for a catch up and the carvery lunch with pudding. The food is lovely and I can't fault it. But the service this time was awful. We were seated in the bar as it was extremely busy and the staff told us we had an hour and we... More

A large group of us was there tonight , but the service was great and the food even better. We all had a great time and must admit the treacle sponge desert is the best l have ever eaten

The carvery was much better on this visit. A good choice of veg and meat was very succulent. Beer was good. The venue is very clean. Car park ok. What let it down was the service. Pool table broke. It took 1 hour to clean table that was full of glasses and empty plates from out 2 hour visit.

Group of four went last night one meal was ordered requesting no onions on the salad. Had to be sent back due to having onions on. Fair play they cooked a new meal but the rest of us had finished before it came out.No offer of a refund or asking if if everything was ok. Will not be returning

I was very pleased with the quality of food. Good choice on the menu, including carvery. Food was hot and service good, despite being a very busy time on a Sunday teatime. Staff were very pleasant.

Visited The Greyhound this evening with my husband. Although we've been several times before and had the carvery which has been ok. My husband had his carvery I decided on something from the main menu for a change, I chose the seafod platter and chips. However when it arrived although it was piping hot there was something not right. It... More

This local Pub/Restaurant always provides everything you need for a mid week meal, The lunch menu gives an excellent tasty carvery plus a dessert at a very reasonable price, not worth bothering to cook at home! It's probably best to reserve a table at peak times. (there is a good choice on the menu if you don't want the carvery)... More

This large pub knows what it is and has no pretences. It is not a quaint pub with cosy rustic charm or a gastro pub with a renowned restaurant. It is a large, clean, modern roadside pub, with young friendly staff, serving good, honest pub grub. An ideal place to stop at if you want a meal on the go,... More
