I have been frequenting la Giudea for 5 years now on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. As a vegetarian the ''Cucuruzzo'' pizza is a favourite but the owners will always make up something to suit my tastes if I ask. There is a good selection of artisan beers which are a little expensive but a treat and... More

La Giudea is spectacular food. Not just delicious, not just incredible. It is food that will make your taste buds sing opera. Maurizio, the master chef, puts together the most beautiful flavours with the most delicious, artisanal ingredients. Every piece of pizza you have for the rest of your life will make you feel a pang of longing to return... More

I'm giving La Guidea 5 stars even though we arrived a bit early so the pizza oven wasn't hot enough and therefore our bases weren't as good as could be. But that's our fault not theirs and the topping was superb. Had we arrived an hour or so later I'm sure it would have been perfect. The pizzeria is in... More

We arrived for dinner very early (around 6pm) as we had to eat dinner before our bus departed. The pizza ovens weren't hot enough yet, but the wonderful staff offered us a variety of alternatives, and after some brief linguistic confusion that was solved with the use of a culinary dictionary, we enjoyed a delicious pasta dinner; Artichoke ravioli and... After two weeks traveling in italy, mostly spening our time in touristic areas, we came to Fondi to find something different and this restaurant is just an exaple of this lovley town. Great hospitaliry and the food is really good!

We ate here on our first night in Fondi and enjoyed every mouthful. The street setting with its dim lighting was very atmospheric and the pizzas were great. The house wine was very palatable too. As we spoke very little Italian and the owners very little English it was a bit touch and go whether we would actually get what we... More

We went on a quiet Monday night in May, on the basis of other reviews. We were actually the only customers. Whilst the food was good - not great - the staff were absolutely tremendous. We had very little Italian and they had about the same amount of English but they really made an effort to help us (with the... More
