Have gone to this little gem nearly every summer on our Spanish break. The location is wonderful looking over the village of Caseras. Unfortunately, last night we tried to ring to book a table and got no answer. Anyway, it was a nice night so we decided to have a drive up there and we were sad to see that... More

Just a short stop for a look over an astonish white Roman village in the mountain. We were warmly welcome to take a cup of cafe.

We had read about this little village in the newspaper so decided to detour there for lunch. So glad we chose this option as the food, the wine and the view were sensational! We had seen wild boar crossing the road as we drove up the mountain, so had decided to try it. The French chef did not disappoint. It... More

Blink and you will miss it... La terraza is a hard place to find (even though it is right on the main road) but when you do find it, you are in for a treat, you really get the feeling that everything is cooked to order like it would be at home... Very relaxed! The best bit though is the... More

Fabulous mountain and village views. Roof top terrace restaurant. Menu is good, honest basic Spanish rutic food. Tasty and not to badly priced seeing it is bang slap in the middle of a popular white village; but nothing special, just enough. Staff friendly and polite, they don't rush the meal either. Access for those with disability problems is difficult, as... More

I am sorry, but this current Trip Advisor rating is way of the mark! Granted, the view - especially the sunset - is fantastic, but the food is really not good. Prawns were not fresh, pasta was really not very nice, salad was ok. Service was friendly, but I won't be coming back here unless it's for the view over... More

Typical well cooked Spanish food. Friendly staff. Large menu. Sunsets and eggplant and honey are the reasons I always return. It would be a crime to not eat here if you are in Casares.

Just back from a fantastic visit to Sabinillias and of course went to Casares for lunch and as always not disappointed. Was fantastic catching up with Pepe,Milagros and her sister. Once again tasted Pepe's tiramaso which I really wish he'd give me his recipe but think it's a family secret. They made my friend and I so welcome and I... More

After walking out of the venta Maricruz we parked outside the La Terraza restaurant steps. This is not for the disabled or anyone who finds stairs difficult. The main restaurant is rustic and so is the terrace. The view is to die for. The menu was full of the usual dishes, nothing to inspiring but that is not to say... More

We ate at La Terraza on our first night of our few days break in Casares. We hadn't booked but the waiter quickly found us a table on the Terraza with a wonderful view over Casares village rooftops. Drinks were promptly ordered and served followed by home baked warm bread and a free shared starter which was delicious. Our chosen... More
