Second time eating here and once again a great experience. Friendly welcome, possibility to have an aperitif in the lounge sets in the garden beforehand, beautifully laid tables (also on the terrace) and very good service by young staff. The boy with the bun in his hair in particular knows how it should be done: friendly, helpful and an appropriate joke from time to time. Delicious dishes, beautifully presented, well portioned and with refined flavors. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

Very disappointed when paying the bill when we had eaten very well with a very good service that the management tells us that it takes only one credit card per table???? What right is it for the institution to choose the payment of what we have consumed??? So I had to pay for everyone and then the people who accompanied me to this meal had to make me a transfer.... Excellent fixed-price menu, really good value, paired with local beers. However, dinner was spoilt by an uncomfortably long wait of nearly 90 minutes before the first course was served. When challenged, the waiter retorted ‘’Ce n’est pas une friterie’’ (This is not a chip shop’). I rest my case.

Chimay, home of the famous beer and cheese. La Ferme, recommended by many sites as a go to. Went there for lunch and discovered quality, both on fish and meat, service and friendliness to high standards and a rigid covid rules application. that's how you make guests feel safe and delighted at the same time. We had the menu, sea bass and pigeon amongst others, we were recommended some beers, local of course. We left happy.

After experience, we were very disappointed, very long wait (more than an hour for the cold starter) and more than an hour almost still no main course. We decided to leave by paying our dues. And in addition, rudeness from the boss who advised us to go to the quick.

Very pleasant, modern, bright interior. The menu bib gourmand has delighted us very much. Nice presentation, tasty flavors, great combinations.

Good food, despite some unsuccessful associations (foie gras and smoked trout doesn’t work, people). Very fairly priced for an overall good meal, but the experience was totally spoiled by the condescendant staff, especially a haughty woman who, I am told, is the Chef’s spouse. Second major issue was the timing. We were a group of seven people, all ordered full 4 course menus and waiting so long we almost left after the starters. Four hours and half we stayed, from 7:30 to closing time or about. A joke. We spoke to the lady manager on our way out and got no sympathy. Totally disappointing. Don’t go.

We went with friends on a saterday evening. Local appetizers to start. Fresh and local ingredients. We had a 3 course dinner. Nice wines not so cheap but correct. Service is very friendly. We enjoyed our evening.

Nicely cooked brassiere style dishes with a modern twist. Egg at 63degC is creamy and nutty. Good fish dishes in tasty butter. Outside terrace is great. One problem, we went two times and both times a lot of waiting. It somewhat took the pleasure out of it.

In the winter it is only open on Friday thru Sunday. We arrived without reservation but that was no problem. The brasserie has been upgraded since we were here last (years ago). Menu has been upgraded as well. Still the old favorites of steak and chips, but the steak and even the chips were delicious, the steak even sublime.
Highly recommend to go there with family and friends. For larger groups you'd probably have to make a reservation.

We were biking: stopped to ask for a room, got two rooms with double beds (we were 3 guys, so two of us would have had to share), so we asked for a discount on the breakfast and we got answered that we were not welcome anymore and we had to leave immediately. Probably the worst service experience i've ever had with any tourist establishment.
