I came to eat with some friends and had a great time! The food was very good, we felt the produce was fresh and the service was more than pleasant. A very nice atmosphere and a neat setting.

Very friendly welcome. Efficient service, very attentive and rather fast.
The fairly limited menu gives pride of place to local and seasonal products.

When I travel overseas I like to taste regional cuisine, preferably with matching wine and / or beer. The accommodation approx 300m away recommended this place ... and I can understand why.
The scampi I had as an entree was delicious. The scampi was very good ... the sauce was way beyond my expectations.
For my main meal I had beef with seasonal vegetables. The beef was cooked faultlessly and the accompanying vegetables and sauce was one of the two best I have ever experienced. The balance with the chef's food was top notch.
Absolutely outstanding ... highly recommended.

Visiting Chimay a couple of weeks ago with my friends. It was a very cold Monday evening in June and most places in Chimay were closed. We stumbled across this excellent family run restaurant and we are so glad we did. The food and service was exceptional. Highly recommended!

visited just after the new years evening. Nevertheless was the restaurant not empty. That says already a lot.
The food is a very good quality, service is nice and friendly the restaurant is is ok. But not waauw. On the other hand you are not in a big city. So for sure we will return and enjoy the food and the wine.
ps: parking etc. is all ok outside. So you can easily come with the car and park in front of the restaurant. That has also a good value.
