We booked this for the first night of our stay at the Hotel and were really pleased we did. We started out ordering the 5 course degustation but when we tasted the 3 Amuse Bouches we changed our order to the 7. This was an amazing restaurant deserving of its 2 (I believe) stars. The food was inventive and just... More

Food is sourced from renowned producers, and even includes a few varieties of tomatoes from the garden outside the kitchen which guests can visit. Dish concepts are thoughtful, not generic and well presented. Waiting staff are attentive and patient. Be prepared to fork out for this meal but you have a 5 or 7 course option and a wine pairing... I enjoy good restaurants and good food. This restaurant is phenomenal! Surroundings are elegant and stately. Understated elegance , wonderful service from particularly the most junior member of the front of house team, as well as from a tremendous sommelier born and bred in St Emilion, who has worked internationally and really knows his craft. Nicolas Masse should be awarded... More

Went here for a special occasion meal. Had the full tasting menu and wine suggestions. Wow!!! The best culinary experience I have ever had - in every dimension. But then, at €395/head, it ought to be!!!

excellent staff and beautiful surroundings. we were not as impressed with the meal compared to other michelin starred restaurants we've eaten at recently. however, the meal was inventive and creative. the butter was really great with seaweed, also the roll with blood sausage, very different.

Had an incredible meal here last week. I requested several changes to the tasting menu (I don't eat egg or fish) and the waiter explained that although chef was slightly temperamental (!) he would accommodate these requests. The meal was beautifully presented and served. Service was attentive. The bread selection was gorgeous - black pudding bread was delectable and something... More

We had dinner to celebrate running the Marathon du Médoc. An excellent 7 course meal with friends. The food was lovely. The wine pairing was great. All in all a lovely evening.

Went with friends on a tour of the vineyards in the Bordeaux region and this place was highly recommended. I can easily understand why. The only regret is we didn't plan a vineyard visit but only ate at the restaurant. However, despite the goof up we had a fantastic experience at this well known 2 Michelin Star restaurant located in... More

Mediocre and lots of rough edges. It was not a Michelin restaurant by any stretch. Food failed to impress and the wait for each course was interminable. A lack of communication between all the team members. Kept being asked the same questions by different members of the team and even though dessert order was placed, was asked again, although could...
