A commonly held misconception, to which I too fell victim, is that the "crepe" is a french invention. The "crepe" is breton! A fact made readily apparent in this locale. A self-styled hommage to the culture and to the subtleties of a rich culinary tradition....In a small corner just off the sqaure, "Ty Billig" offers a moment's respite, with an air close yet comfortable. The decor is reminiscent of the storied country diner, yet hardly french. It shows rather breton legacy, you may even, if you listen carefully hear the old language in use! The staff were friendly and obliging, though I would recommend a reservation. The food does justice to its heritage, perhaps the best crepe I have had. The cider was exquisite, a treat only available in the region. It was a meal well worth the trip, a destination in itself.More

This is an amazing creperie with friendly and helpful staff. Very popular among locals! Book your table in advance! An excellent choice of savory and sweet crepes and a large selection of local ciders. This is a must go!

A small and narrow restaurant with the nice atmosphere of a private kitchen. Relaxed and friendly owners/staff who served some of the best galettes we had in Brittany. Fair prices and delicious food is an adequate summary.

We've been eating crêpes in Brittany for many years. Ty Billig offers some of the best we've tasted and provides truly excellent value. If you're feeling hungry then you must try the complet complet. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. We strongly...advise that you book in advance as the restaurant is very popular and small, also bring cash because they don't accept cards. These are very minor inconveniences for such wonderful food. You really should try it.More

We had to wait outside for it to open but it was worth the wait. This is a top class creperie which once open filled up fast with locals. The crepes were amazing and staff very friendly. This is a must visit if in Quimperie.

This is an amazing creperie with friendly and helpful staff, an excellent choice of savoury and sweet crepes and a large selection of local ciders and beers. This is clearly hugely popular and we were only squeezed into the very small restaurant and they continued...to turn people away whilst we were there. I would suggest making a reservation if you're planning on making a detour just to call in here (although do, if you have the time - it's definitely worth it!)More

We came across this restaurant by chance. Lovely welcome. The Yong lady serving is so helpful and has a lovely manner with her customers either local or tourist. The food is very good, good size portions. You must visit when in this town.

The interior is loaded with photo's, frames, etc about Brittany. The owner is definitely a big fan of the region. He has a large choice of crêpes. After a crêpe with rillets de St Jacques we ate a sweet crêpe with ice cream. Delicious!!

What a lovely spot for a quick and tasty Breton lunch. Your crepes are prepared in the small, single roomed cafe. Friendly service, tasty food, nice wine. Interesting local produce to buy as well. Highly recommended.

on the basis of rave reviews we visited ty billig two weeks ago. The setting is nice but a little crowded. Our crepes (complet complet), though very tasty, were by no means the best we have had in France (Brittany Normandy and elsewhere over the...last 12 years) still very good but you will find better.More
