Never had tried octopus. We found a lovely treat in store at this quiet pulverised. Not too expensive, old world charm typical Spanish decor. Simple seating in the bar or under cover outside. On a narrow street of pardon. Also has Pardon peppers on the menu for those braver than us. friendly staff will help you choose. Portions are large,... More

Good stop for lunch in padron as a pellegrino on your way to Santiago. Very Nice to have lunch here after 20 km.

After wandering around town for a while in the evening we settled in here (not a lot was open mid-week in the winter). It worked out well. Decent wine, good-if-not-standout food, solid service. About what you'd expect. Had a great time comparing notes with other Camino walkers. The soup was good, as was the octopus.

6 of us ate here on our first night in Padron and liked it so much we went back later in the week. It is informal dining, with local food. It was all good but particularly recommend the Bacalao a la Cazuela

This place has a small terrace tucked away from a street leading to the main square. Food was really good. Of course the pimientas padron were great but this is a bit obvious. The pulpo was one of the best, so soft and tender, just perfect. Our waiter was very nice and provided tour guid advice

There was nothing that wasn't good at the food, plus this restaurant probably served the best wine during our trip. Ask for it: Denominación Monterrey, a red Mencía!

The food is very good here, real Spanish homemade dishes with several specialities from the Galician region. Having an Octopus in Galician style is a must here! If you go in the summer you can´t miss the Padron peppers, whose name comes from this town! People are friendly and take care you enjoy your meal there. I would recommend it... More

This is hard to write. I usually write positive reviews because I've sought out good places and because I'm willing to forgive extenuating circumstances for the one meal I experienced. This is negative. So let me be direct: • The pulpo (octopus): some of the best I've ever had; • The accompanying dishes: some of the worst. To the point... More

As motorcyclists looking for truly Spanish food whilst touring spain this is a gem with perfect hospitality and food to be proud of. Go for the octopus and squid together with the local grilled peppers and a side salad.

We had a few missteps in setting tables and ordering/getting drinks but afterwards (including a very face to face, let's get things straight with Mary) everything ran very smooth and she treated us high class. Cazuela de bacalao - excellent!!! a must try.... I would go back there again...
