I must have visited on a bad night or the apprentices were running the kitchen. I ordered the Scotch Fillet as a Medium and it was bordering well done,l. The Dianne sauce was a little lacking in taste, the salad had the minimum amount of dressing bit the chips were OK, i would go somewhere else next time.

A very nice place for a bistro/alfresco restaurant, the view of the lake from the balcony while dining is fantastic. The meals are great and very well priced. The service is great and the Sunday smorgasbord breakfast is the best especially on the balcony with the sun coming up over the lake.

Lovely restaurant inside the rsl club, extensive menu with warm welcoming staff. Seperate entrance so families can enter without going through gaming area. Arrive early as it is very popular and gets quite busy

Ate at Diggers whilst staying in town and found it quite good. Friendly staff with reasonable prices and food. I had an eye fillet steak with not very hot chips with slightly limp salad and was really looking forward to well-needed red meat. As much as it was likely the tastiest eye fillet I've ever had, it was also the... More

We had a fantastic meal at the Mulwala RSL Diggers Restaurant. Ordered Beer Battered Fish and Chips and was given enough food to feed an army. Along with fast service and great food we found friendly folk to talk too . Great for all ages. Lift and stairs. Huge Pokies entertainment area. Seniors meals too. Plenty Parking and just across... Friday specials for dinner sounded just like what we needed after a solid day winery visiting. Fish and Chips for $13. I have paid double that for similar quality in city pubs. Mine was delicious, crisp and crunchy. Wifes fish was soggy and soft. Son had an Eye fillet steak $27 that he did enjoy. All had on balcony seats... More

Many times over many years we have eaten in Diggers Bistro. The menu is extensive and varied and the food good and well priced. The weekend smorgasbord breakfasts are special, but lunches and dinner are always excellent.

Enjoyed breakfast, eggs and bacon one day, pancakes the next, all very nice and tasty. Dinner was a Seniors Chicken Parmagana which was a large enough serving and quite tasty. The dessert was a Toblarine cheese cake which was to die for, could not eat it all so shared with the other half. All very enjoyable.
