In a suburban location with the best intentions but with the forced desire to twist and improve the classics whilst creating little optimisation.

One of our best meals. Beautiful food and impeccable friendly service. The chef and her husband take such obvious pride in presenting wonderful local fresh food. The antipasto is a must!

Visited this lovely little restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside. Food was great but the service was perfect. Felt like eating at someone's home even though they didn't speak much English. Fixed something of menu for the kids without hesitation.

My wife and I had a light supper here while visiting Umbertide on other business. Time was not on our side so we ordered the 2 main pasta dishes, tagliatelle and gnocchi, both with a goose sauce. The pasta was home made and both dishes were very good. I tried the tiramisu with strawberries, a very interesting desert and most... More

I've been to this restaurant a few times over the last couple of years and found the quality consistently good. What prompted me to write this review was my last visit, on 1st January. The chef, Laura, is very creative, and produces traditional Umbrian cuisine with a twist. She makes all the pasta herself. The menu she served up at this meal... More

Had the chance to have an EXCELLENT food experience. local food, with a twist. it worth to think that the same restaurant in a different place will be completely packed 24/7. if you are in a 30 minutes radius, take my advice, go there, you will absolutely get the best quality/value/money.

The food was very different from what we expected. It is historically traditional Umbria food, beautifully presented and delicious. But considering that Laura is the chef with years of experience in this area what should we have expected?

Very cute little place. Being Americans we went on just as they opened. Staff is very friendly, even though they only speak a little English, we were able to communicate pretty well! A bit hard to find, as it's sandwiched into a bunch of apartment buildings. We had the full meal. Starter with cheese and meat, it was do much... More

The restaurant is the perfect place to eat and drink together, for lunch, Sundays and holydays, and for dinner, on unique place for an aperitif accompanied by appettizing preparation.Starting from 18,00 you can taste "torta al testo" bruschette, salumi and also inviting home made past and succulent meats.Smell of old dishes, typical cuisine of the traditional territory.Unmistakable tastes accompanied by a well-stocked wine bar all served in a comfortable and welcoming environment, with a relaxing outdoor space. The right place to spend pleasant moments all to "taste".
