On a grey, miserable day, step inside to find a roaring log fire and a warm welcome from friendly staff. A fantastically tasty lunch, great selection of beers. First rate, can't recommend it highly enough.

A group of four ladies staying in the area and not sure where to eat. We had a super meal at the Stile Bridge Pub with very friendly staff and a lovely jug of Pimms.
Meal great, reasonable choice on the menu, good beer with friendly and attentive staff. The prices down south were a bit of a shock and we found it a little expensive for what we got.

Stayed nearby, so went a few times, food very good can't fault, and one of the best sunday roasts we've had for a long time, the nut roast was excellent, as was the mixed roast, lamb beef and pork. Good cider as well
