we had the tapas menu for 15 euros each.you could have your plates refilled as many times as you like for this fee as long as you did not waste any food at the end very good value for money.the staff were excellent.

Kids menu was the best of the restaurant. After a long time waiting to be served, gazpacho and salmorejo were vinegar, chicken and fish were made one week ago or before... Forget this place!

Passing through Vic, we arrived around 2pm, and it was shut. The town, could not find anything open ( Mid August looks like town closed for holidays ) Opposite the tourist information office, that was open and worth the visit ( they sell coffee for 1€ and have good loos if on a budget ) The menu is in many... We had gone to the wonderful market in Vic and were looking for a light lunch afterwards. Opposite the tourist board...well it might have been a rip off. Far from it. at e10.95 for a four course meal with wine it was a pretty good deal. I had a fruit juice as a starter, my husband had a broth with... More

We stopped en route for a mid afternoon meal. We had a 4 course menu of the day including wine €11 each. Very homely and inviting bar and restaurant with lovely helpful staff. We had broth, stews and chicken thighs and a fantastic cheesecake, all homemade and full of flavour. A must visit if you are passing through.

Sadly, Vic on Sunday is not Vic on Saturday; probably not even Monday. It is heaven on a Saturday night, and finding anywhere to serve food is a struggle. However, close to the Plaza Major, lies this little gem; from the outside, fun, full bubbly and offering local Catalan food. Well, it was full, and fun for those in a... More

I went to Vic to see the old Roman tempel, but being there discovered a great number of fine restaurants and I enjoyed a surprising good lunch in El Bodega de Vic. They offered us some delightful fishdishes, which well went down with the excellent housewine. The temple will have to wat roll net time in Vic.

Pleasant enough evening meal, tapas choice for lunch extensive, G&T excellent! Seems to be a favourite with locals - always a good sign.

Frozen ingredients (seafood in the salad was still frozen!) and dishes simply tasteless... or frozen as the cake we ordered for dessert. Menu not worth the price of 15,50€ + 10% for the terrace.

Don't go expecting glitz and glamour, just a solid local restaurant serving local tapas dishes, and doing it well. Set menu of €15 was good value, and enjoyable. Probably better value in hindsight would have been to choose from the a la carte menu. You can choose smaller dishes but a much bigger range, and so experience more dishes. The... More
