Very nice home made food with house specialities daily. Great for a quick meal or a few tapas. Cozy atmosphere.

We stayed in Albarracin at an AirBnB right next to this restaurant so right at the beginning of our trip we tried it out for lunch one day. We know a limited amount of Spanish but the employees there worked hard so that we were both understood, saying things multiple different ways until we could pick up enough of the... More

I had the luck to get into this little restaurant during my first day in Albarracin and came back there 3 more times. There's a lot of choice and everything I tried was outstanding. I definitely will go back for their migas and sheep meat. It's a great place to go for breakfast too for their home made torrijas and... More

We have just stayed two nights in Albarracin and unusually for us, we ate at this restaurant on both nights. You cannot book a table and so because the dining area is small, arrive 8.30ish to be sure to get a table. There were lots of disappointed customers arriving 9.30ish- normally a good time to arrive for evening meal in... More

We were lucky to cadge a table at the Tasca Tipica El Roso on a Saturday night. The food is hearty and fresh, regional and traditional Spanish. I loved a starter on the three course menu that was a grilled vegetable plate with excellent olive oil. The menu stated that the vegetables were 'from the owner's garden' and they certainly... More

I had the revuelto with cod and mushrooms, and it was very good; it had lots of local mushrooms and the cod wasn't salty. My husband had the ciervo (venison) and the meat was delicious. The service was friendly, and not just with the Spanish-speaking customers. The restaurant is on the road going to Teruel, so it's convenient for those... More

It's hard to say, because we didn't eat in that many other places because we fell in love with this place on our first night. So, the food was delicious, the wine was great, the staff were really helpful and friendly :-) What more is there to say... We did try two other places, and they didn't come at all... More

We spent a couple of meals there last weekend. The Menu of the day is excellent value and quality. I had entremese and deer steak. Both were very good. Food tasty, the location is good as well, 50 meters from the tourist office at the edge of the old town. The service is friendly. Wine is ok. Highly recommended.

El Roso is a great local restaurant where the locals eat. We sat at the bar had local wine, and ordered the pisto, with egg, 2nd dish was local wild mushrooms, bacalao and egg with local bread. It was wonderful - at the end of the bar they had two large pots on with a local deer stew, melt in... More
