5 years ago it was excellent, however, they are always closed and I think it is very rude behavior by not responding to calls, or emails or messages. I tried numerous times weeks in advance to get in touch. When we went to the restaurant...it was closed. I know not if permanently, or whatever but huge let down. Never again. Get your act together!More
We saw on Instagram that it was one of the best vegetarian-friendly restaurant so we decided to give it a chance and it did not disappoint us.
We had some tapas and we quite enjoyed them. We loved the presentation of the trio of hummus...(picture).
Service was good.More
Get here before the lunchtime rush to ensure you get a table. The delicious smells will get your appetite going! Sit at the bar for a drink or if it’s free, on the tiny balcony for a mid-sightseeing breather with your other half and a...beer!More
This place was such a pleasant surprise, in this small town. A perfect blend of new and traditional food. I was delighted to see there was a zucchini noodle salad with dried fruits and it was simply delicious! The hummus trio came with traditional, avocado,...and beetroot. Also, the croquetas were superb. You can tell the chef and people at this restaurant put a lot of effort into their food. Great atmosphere in the restaurant as well.More
I would say it's a hidden gem as it's tucked away in a side street near the cathedral, but plenty of people seem to have discovered it, and quite rightly so. Based on reviews here we decided to eat there with our four year old...whilst visiting Albarracin. No bookings accepted, but we noted that they open at 7.30pm which is early to eat in Spain, so we figured that the early sitting would suit our child, and would enable us to get a table before the Spanish families arrived. As there are only a few tables available we made the right decision to arrive early as they were all taken very quickly. Others arrived and took drinks at the bar while they waited for a space to become available. Without a child in tow we would have been happy to do the same as it's a place with good atmosphere and surroundings. We had a great meal, the portions are large (in fact the waiter prevented me from ordering too much!) and the prices more than reasonable. Service was excellent and there was nothing to dislike. I would go back again without question.More
I went to a michelin starred restaurant two weeks prior to entering la taba. In the ways that matter most to me this restaurant is comparable. The food was amazing. There craft beer selection was impeccable. The presentation of the dishes was top notch. Everything...down to the service was michilan. The music selection was perfect. The restaurant was had a unique style and decor. I was so impressed i went twice. Each time and all 8 dishes I had at la taba was unforgettable. I highly recommend la taba.More
Excellent food, we had the cuban chickpeas with chorizo and the couscous both really well executed. If anything the chorizo was a really strong flavour so if you order it eat it last so that you can enjoy everything else.
Excellent service, polite and fast,...what else can you ask for.
Excellent ambiance, average hipster decoration but nice music mix in the background, heavy on the Caribbean sounds.
Excellent price, I could say the dishes are small but that's only cause most other places serve gigantic plates. So YMMV but I'd say that an appetizer and two main dishes are enough for two people to eat plenty.More
