As we walked down the tree-lined street, serenaded by native birds, we celebrated the location and the calmness. Entering the restaurant, that calmness and feeling of relaxation continued. Staff were all super friendly and nice and the location to die for!!! The menu is unique ... a series of 'small meals' which are basically entrees and then some main meals.... More

So many other reviewers have ably covered the fantastic food and interesting wine list at this longstanding Central Coast establishment. Although its been five years between visits to Pearls on the Beach, there's two things that stand out over and above so many other restaurants. First is the warm and sincere engagement with all the staff. There was no pompous... More

First time here and I'd heard good things. The service was fine, couldn't fault it. Decided to do the 3 small dish option - I had the beetroot, scallops and the bugs tails. The beetroot was a little larger than expected and at first I thought I may have ordered too much food. It was very tasty with the feta... More

I went with a friend not having been for many years. It was a fantastic experience. We had a table on the balcony and watched the sky go from blue to the evening. The staff are friendly but not intrusive. There is plenty of variety on the menu. As people have mentioned you can order 3 small or 1 small... More

Upon a revisit to Pearls on the beach, for Sunday lunch, we quickly realised that the standards are higher than other quality restaurant venues on the Central Coast. The wine list is very attractive and different, with just enough of European wines with Australian producer vintages , not to confuse the choice by having an excessive listing. The menu of... More

We had lunch here on a Sunday. It is right on the beach with fabulous views out out over the water, well spaced tables, relaxing, modern decor and excellent, friendly and attentive service. The wine list is very good with some interesting and diverse wineries represented. It was busy but not packed and the food was sensational. For entree we... More

We were lucky enough to dine here recently with friends and it really was a superb experience. The setting on the beach is beautiful so do try and get there early enough to enjoy the view before sunset. Our waiter for the evening was friendly, knowledgeable and quietly efficient and the chef responded personally and in great detail to one... More

Beautifully located and decorated, with friendly and knowledgeable staff and interesting, delicious food. We arrived very late for our booking due to long weekend traffic from Sydney but this was no problem at all for the team who had two fabulous and much-needed cocktails in our hands within minutes. The menu was explained enthusiastically and we had no hesitation in... More

Sitting on the balcony eating a creatively inspired lunch to the sound of waves crashing on the beach is a magical experience. Wrapped up with a view unsurpassed makes he cost of this event all worthwhile. My guest was awestruck. Excellent service, an inventive menu and the view make any visit special.

Pearls has been so good for a long time and is my favourite on the Central Coast. Superb position close to beach and some tables overlook the water. The service is relaxed and friendly but the food is why you should go. One chef's hat says it all
