As per much of the Imperial Hotel, Nadaman needs a bit of a makeover with very old furnishing at odds with the food and prices. Something should be done. Whilst looking for a quick lunch - and clearly not coming to the right place therefore - the food was very good and enjoyable. Service was actually a little slow and... More

Location: at the B1 of imperial hotel Ambiance: tradition Japanese, no background music, talking on cell phones wasn't allowed. Host: very sweet and welcoming. Service: on top of things. Food: we had the traditional Japanese meal. We told them about our dietary restrictions and they brought traditional Japanese appetizers, salads, main course, and dessert. It was a good way to... Nadaman is in many different hotels in Japan. The taste is almost same in every Nadaman restaurant. If you are not familiar to Japanese food, this is the place to start your exeprience.

A top grade kaiseki style Japanese restaurant that never fails. Quality is excellent on all fronts and is a great experience of traditional Japanese dining

...if you are in a hurry, not fussy about your location or just don't care very much. The large and very bright - indeed over-lit - room is perfectly pleasant in the basement of the Imperial Hotel, but the menu is not very adventurous, in keeping with the international clientele of the hotel and there was nothing unusual about the... I stayed in imperial hotel Tokyo and was recommended to try Nadaman's traditional Japanese breakfast. It was amazing :) everything is nicely presented and it tastes really good. It keeps me full until late afternoon with a very reasonable price :) we definitely go again on my next visit !

Very good, excellent fresh ingredients but very cold atmosphere. The tempura seemed to me a bit fat though but all in all the quality is better than in most restaurants. The way the light of the restaurant is set makes it look like a self service in a hospital. Excellent "neutral" atmosphere. Do not expect any contact with people around... More

There are many famous and prestigious Japanese restaurants in Tokyo. “Nadaman" is definitely one of them. According to the Nadaman's HP, its history is very old and it was started in 1830 when Mansuke Nadaya opened a restaurant in Osaka, which became the basis of today’s “Nadaman”. It opened a Japanese restaurant inside the Imperial Hotel main building in Tokyo... More

I had tempuras at the counter at lunch. It is a very nice "Edo Mae" (Tokyo style) tempura course. I loved it. Very $$, but worth it.

This restaurant is in the basement lower level and had little atmosphere. It was fine but nothing special, not even music. Quiet...shhhh. It is a japanese breakfast.
