Sushizanmai has a simple purpose: make sure you eat wonderful sushi at any time of the day. We had breakfast, lunch and late dinner there, the place is always busy with people focusing on their sushi. It offers a relaxed setting, pleasant and efficient staff, and of course, great sushi at very reasonable prices.

We went there before 5 p.m. for dinner, and we were seated right away. The place was almost packed up. We ordered quite a lot for 3 persons and it cost about 15,000 Yen altogether. The fish served were very fresh and tasty. Toro literally melt in your mouth. My wife love crab, so we also tried crab roe salad,... More

We went to Sushizanmai near Ginza/Yurakucho one evening. It was my first time there, but have heard about it before. The fish and seafood were fresh and delicious! I had Jo-chirashi (rice topped with many kinds of fish), which was lovely. In fact, I never liked Uni (roe of sea urchin) at all. However, I tried Uni here and it... More

This was our first sushi in Japan and probably the best. We had a lot of fun, people were very cheerful and the atmosphere was very fun. A great place for great sushi.

I went to Sushizanmai based on recommendations from the excellent website "Tokyo cheapo". Sushizanmai is basically the idea behind indulging yourself on good quality sushi without necessarily dig too deep in your wallet. I visited this branch and another branch closer to Shimbashi station but both were excellent. At this particular restaurant, and at busy time, you are required to... More

This is near the Hibiya Station and a short walk from The Peninsula or BIC Camera. It's right under the railroad tracks. It's a 24 hour place and as soon as you get in, you're greeted with shouts in Japanese which I am sure is a resting of Welcome! While they do have an English menu, you won't get lost... More

Well, if you do, look no further if in the area. This sushi restaurant is located at the northern end of Ginza Corridor, under the railway bridge. The sushi dishes are as fresh as can be, the atmosphere enthusiastic. We felt somewhat challenged by the scope of the menu selection but the staff are very helpful. Were, however, somewhat bemused... We stopped at this restaurant twice during our time in Tokyo... once for lunch and then another night for a late dinner. Very close to our hotel. Attentive friendly staff, and very good selections of sushi, tempura, and other options. Reasonably priced for area. Loud and energetic vibe.... popular with the locals.
