Kojimachi isn't known as being a cafe area, so finding Kojimachi Cafe here was a blessing. Laid back, focus on healthy eating - they even sell organically grown vegetables. Great atmosphere for nomad workers like myself if you get sick of Starbucks!

Situated opposite the Hanzomon metro, we walked right past this place on the way to the Grand Arc Hanzomon Hotel. We just went in for a drink then booked a table for dinner the following evening. Friendly staff, quirky comfortable decor and fresh delightful menu made for a lovely evening. The wine is also good. It's on our list to... More

I was staying at the Grand Arc Hanzomon up the road and walked past Kojimachi Cafe as I left the subway and decided to have dinner there. It's a popular little place and for good reason - it has lovely ambience and staff (who did their best to accommodate the fact that I spoke no Japanese, only English!). I ordered... More

Friendly and attentive staff. Great food. We shared the appetizer - pate de campagne, plenty for two with baguette. Very tasty. For main course I had the pork konkatsu (?) which was perfectly cooked. My wife had the Australian filet of beef, cooked medium rare, again perfectly cooked. A minor criticism would be the lack of veggies served with the... More

This place is always full so on the off chance that there were seats available, a few colleagues and I headed here for lunch on a weekday. They have daily lunch specials (usually around 4 choices consisting of either a sandwich, soup, pasta or salad set) which comes with complimentary bread, salad and a little dessert. I've tried the mildy... More

I'm giving it a four star rating just solely on the fact that this place is busy, every night! Every time we walked by, it was busy & by looking at the menu outside the prices are very reasonable. The food & service must be very good to be that busy.

We stumbled in out of the rain and asked for a menu before committing to this restaurant. The menu has a good variety of choices with interesting flavor combinations and be sure to ask for the specials of the day. We started with excellent butternut squash soup that came with soft bread. We ordered two specials of the day -... More

Nice restaurant in Italian style. Good service, nice bread and the pasta tasted well. Even the wine was good.

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
