The ambiance is wonderful. We wanted Kobe beef and this was the place! We ordered the Chateaubriand and it was amazing. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Loved this place! Expensive, but worth it if you want Kobe beef.

Having been greeted very warmly were were led to a table and served tea immediately. The menu is not complex and we simply ordered Kobe beef and salad which arrived on a sizzling platter. Very tasty and value for money.

What a wonderful surprise this place turned out to be! It was our last lunch in Tokyo before heading to the airport and we really wanted to have some Kobe beef. We read online that Gyuuan opened for lunch at 11:30 a.m. We were in...More

“Dive” some steep stairs, take off your shoes and enjoy the place. Good set up, sober decor, simple and friendly service. Food ok, portions by weight, simply presented. Don’t “bother” to pay double for the Kobe cuts as the “traditional” meat is really great!! I...More

Came for the highly acclaimed kobe beef but left utterly and majorly disappointed. You could probably cook better steak at home on your own at 1/4 of the price. Felt like a tourist trap. 10/10 would not recommend anyone to try their kobe. With that...More

We were a bit confused by the menu, which was in English. It just seemed very odd to us that the regular sirloin was 990 yen and the Kobe beef sirloin was 11,000 yen. We ordered one of each since we were there to try the Kobe....More

It was the first time we had Kobe beef, and we enjoyed it. Friendly and efficient - but not officious - service- one of the staff even put newspaper in my wet shoes to help dry them. It was like mom was there. Upon request,...More

Hi Carbarina, I went without making one. I think it shouldn't take long as they serve the food really fast which means people get out of there fast too. Alternatively, you can call/get your hotel to call them? Cheers!
