A friend booked a table for lunch on a week day. There is a good choice of food and menus. A table is on the window and there is enough space. The food is good and, with the menu we chose, we could have as much as mixed rice. So, for a menu of 3000 yen, there was enough to... More

This was our second visit to this outstanding restaurant. The service if first class, but this is something you take for granted in Japan. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. We pre-booked a vegetarian taster menu. We were served something like 8-9 dishes. Each dish was beautifully presented and described by the waiters. Each dish focused on a particular element of Japanese cuisines, such as tofu, tempura, rice, vegetables. Immaculate and sublime. Highly recommend but reserve ahead of time.

How the hotel receptionist decided to recommend this place is a mystery. The service was bad, the food was bland and bad, and the prices high. In a country with many nice places, there is no reason to be at this one.
