The atmosphere is luxurious at Joe's. The dumplings were true to the original NY recipe at this location. Joe's is hip and young. It was very crowded and popular on a Monday night. Fun crowd, good food and great atmosphere. Like all restaurants in Ginza,...More

Delicious Chinese food. Xiao long bao would be perfect if the skin was thinner... but still were awesome. Service on the other hand is not very attentive, waiters speak poor English and are quite casual, which doesn't suit the place at all.

I read the reviews about this restaurant and I concluded that I was not going to visit it, however, somehow I did. I requested only the dumplings a la carte, and it worth it. Yes, it is true that personnel does not speak English, and...More

I'm from New York so was a frequent diner at Joe's, and have since moved to Asia and eaten pretty much every soup dumpling available including the offerings from the original Din Tai Fung in Taipei. I maintain that Joe's has the best soup dumplings...More

Apart from dumplings, which were ok - the most horrifying experience in ordering the famous Peking duck! They served the skin of the duck on top of a Craker and 8 or 10 pieces of a thick wheat pancake...the meat?.. No one knows where it...More

I went in for dinner at Joe's Shanghai last Thursday night. It is the best Chinese food I have had in Tokyo. Great New York style restaurant decor and excellent Shanghai dumplings. The kitchen has an open window so you can see all the action...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
