While visiting he Dali exhibits, had an early lunch at the brassiere to avoid the crowds later on. The set meals were excellent. My wife had the the salad which was a meal in itself. All top rate.

I allowed myself this mentality when I ate at Brasserie Paul Bocuse Le Musee: I came to the museum for the special exhibit with the additional benefit of having fine cuisine right afterwards in a relaxed setting. This way, I appreciated the quality of the meal and its convenient location even more. The food and service were both excellent. We... More

Great food but I'm not so sure that it was such a great idea to train the waiting staff in the high arts of surly service a la Anglaise. I have this theory that cafes and restaurants never try too hard if they are located in touristy places with a steady supply of customers - like museums. Hence this place... More

The restaurant is inside the National Art Museum in Roppongi. Location is easily reachable by Tokyo Metro. The food and the service were excellent. The restaurant itself perches high on the 3rd level of this open concept museum. Seating was spacious and comfortable. I would not hesitate to go there again for a relaxing dinner.

I perfectly understand that staying open all day long can represent a hard challenge for the personnel, but that is not enough to carry out a service which is not "à la hauteur de la cuisine et de l'endroit". We basically come here every summer for some museum exhibits and like to have lunch or dinner there. This month We... More

3 course set dinner. Crab gelo with avocado, Ox tongue and cheek lettuce wrapped and log cake and ice cream. Great value. Ambiance is very nice. Would have been better if the arts place was open on my visit.

We came for an early lunch and considering how early it was the place was already full. On top of an inverted cone the spot is lovely but the feel is more about efficient turn over. The service was attentive. We decided to go for the special menu inspired by the current Musee d'Orsay exhibition. ¥4600 per person three course... More

If you crave European food, this is a place to go. We booked for 8pm, closing time at the National Arts Center. Its huge entrance hall went quiet leaving only the quiet noises of the restaurant itself, located on top of a huge inverted concrete cone. In the subdued lighting we had a feeling of intimate exclusivity, sitting amongst quiet... More

Water stains on the glass (I asked for replacement but the second one was the same), the beef terrine and stew weren't the best I've had (not in the top 10, either). The best thing I had in this lunch was coffee. Great location and OK price though, worth a try and that's it.

A 5 course set lunch in this dramatic setting atop the national art centre was not necessarily worth the trip to get there but if one was attending the gallery to see either the architecture or one of the exhibitions, it is a pleasant and good value lunch. Lonely Planet and the Luxe guides suggest it is a way to... More
