Easily one of the highlights of my trip, although it’s much better if you go in with as little prior knowledge as possible. I’d already watched a few videos of what happens in this small bar/restaurant but made sure to spoil as little as I could for my friends. If you want a truly bizarre dining experience and don’t mind... More

Awesome crazy, if you're wired that way. I'll let YouTube give you a better idea of what you're really getting into. Food was good, I got the all you can drink, so getting your money's worth helps with the whole experience. The hardest thing was getting a reservation (an absolute must). I tried to call and book myself, but unless... More

Had to come here after seeing a video about it on YouTube. The one man show is certainly one of a kind! Come here if you want to have a laugh during your meal and don't mind being made fun of. But be warned that the owner can get up in your personal space quite a bit, so you've got... More

I don't want to give away too many details here since I think it's better to be surprised by the show but Kagaya is 100% worth it for a night out in Tokyo. It's technically an Izakaya run by Mark but you're really here for Mark's unique brand of show not for dinner (although that was good too). The entertainment... More

This restaurant will make you laugh. The owner is a one man show that interacts with all the costumers and will make you laugh a lot with all his jokes, costumes and surprises. The food is also nice, but you don't go to Kagaya for the food. Remeber to go to the toilet.

Let's be honest, you're here for the show and it's well worth eating a mediocre meal for the shenanigans the owner pulls off. One of the most unique and memorable experiences I've had.

Dining with home style Japanese cousine cooked by the mother of owner. The most important - its a one actor show. And show is hilariously funny. Not kids friendly because of smoking and vulgar jokes... but its something;) You will smile and laugh all the time. Great mood guaranteed. Choose English style or French;)

I didn't know what to expect but was VERY pleasantly surprised! Great Humor and Very Fun environment on top of the great food! You won't be disappointed! Reservations must be made ahead of time and well worth it.

Call ahead, book a table, don't bring your kids, buckle up for a hilarious dining experience that you won't find anywhere else.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
