Visited last Sunday evening since the 1F beef BBQ Jo-joen was fully booked. Nevertheless the teppanyaki at ¥8500 was ok.

Nice, but nothing really special. Not for this money. And nothing what I couldn't get in Europe for less money. But the view out of here in the 38th floor is great.

Visited for dinner while staying in the hotel. According to the hotel website it seemed to be considerably cheaper than it actually was. Nevertheless after sitting down on a table overlooking Tokyo, we decided to pull a YOLO and stay for the ride. We've picked a couple of the set tasting menus comprising starter of roe in green algae, a... More

Unconventional teppanyaki which is cooked at our table, but fair enough to watch our food and be next to a great city view. Every dish was presented nicely and tasted delicious. Dessert was an omelette-looking vanilla ice cream crepe :)

Tried this place on top of Shinagawa Prince one night when we were too tired to go anywhere else for dinner. Fantastic sushi, though with a price tag that matches the quality. Can complain though, good sushi, and a view of Tokyo tower.

We dined at Ajikaido Gojusantsugi at the end of October 2015. The Kobe Beef Set offered that evening was a meal to remember. Each course was elegantly prepared and served with excellent wines. The Kobe Beef was cooked in a pot in middle of table and self served. Servings were very generous and perfectly timed. The Staff and Servers were... More

They have world class sushi right here in the hotel. The quality is top notch. The three grades of tuna offered were perfectly cut and the rice was nice and sticky. I asked for only a tad of wasabi and that exactly what they prepared. I ate there twice during my stay and the staff was wonderful. I'm not sure... More

I had lunch here waiting to check in at the hotel. My first lunch experience in Japan as I had landed for the first time on the island 3h before. I enjoyed every moment of it, the spectacular view. I love the fresh sea urshins and the octopus. The special tuna was amasing. Perfect service, great experience if you are... More

I had a very nice sushi dinner here twice on my own as I was on a business trip. The sushis and makes are very good compared to other places in the area. I absolutely recommend this restaurant, especially as you also get a nice view on the city while eating. Beautiful and relaxing after a busy workday. There are... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
